I saw one last week at a game store. The guy got it early and was putting the mod switch in it so he could play american games since he had a Japanese Game Cube. I didn't think they would be as small as they are. They are cute.

If it wasn't for Kinetica, Tony Hawk 3 and maybe Soul Caliber 2 I wouldn't even think of buying a PS2.

My friend RUTHLESSBASTARD just bought a Gamecube today. He got it from the Toys R Us near us, and the place was totally packed! I'm going to get one later in the year.

I find it rather interesting how the Gamecube is only $200 (the price of the NES when it came out) and the X box costs $350. wonder which one is going to sell better

Gamecube is gonna suck ass. You know why? although the graphics look great, Nintendo is gonna mainly focus on making games for fucking preschoolers. And X-box will just be around until Microsoft gets tired of making it (which will be in a year). So the best choice has to be by far the PS2. I'm saving up my money right now to get one.

And I suppose you've played both GameCube and X-Box games? I love my PS2 too, but stop talking out of your ass.
I got my GameCube this morning. Rogue Leader is awesome.
Might get a X-Box this summer, when there are actually games for it.

I just don't trust Nintendo anymore. I got burnt with the N64- I only have 4 games for it, two of which I actually like. And let's not forget the infamous Vapor-Ware. The games were shit on the N64, and I'm worried about more of the same with the Gamecube.
I guess I have trust issues with the video gaming industry as a whole. X-Box is made by McRosoft, I have no love for that company, I severly doubt that I would willingly give them any money. I still haven't bought a PS2 because I'm waiting to see how many worthwhile titles they will have on it. (Besides FFX, I haven't seen much that has caught my eye.) Maybe it's because I don't have a lot of time to spend playing games lately, so I want to make sure if I get something that it will be worth my time.

With the N64, Nintendo made one major flaw, keeping the cartirage format. This caused many 3rd party corperation to run from the system, and cling to the more "mordern" system (Playstation/Dreamcast). This also ment longer production time, and low quality game. Nintendo is finally hoping to solve the problem by switching to the CD format, and so far, things look good. Hopefully the games will be as good as they look (with maybe the exception of... uh... Zelda... that new Link looks kinda crappy...). As for the N64, the games weren't that bad! (Although, I guess that depends, which four games did you get?)

I got it today, and I got Rogue Leader. It's pretty cool, except for at the end of the Hoth level on Rogue Leader, the game freezes up and goes 'ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR'
WHAT
THE
FUCK
I just want my Smash Bros...

But Nintendo isn't exactly going for preschoolers and Xbox won't be around 'until Microsoft gets tired of making it'.
Gee, you generalized a lot of stuff in your paragraph. I hereby brand you an ass-penguin.

Good Question. I'll try to answer it (*cough* The Xbox is $300, not $350)
My Best Buy had 98 PS2's on October 26th, 2000. We sold out in an hour.
My Best Buy had 70 Xboxes on November 15th, 2001. We sold out in 8 hours.
My Best Buy sold all but 18 Gamecubes. The only problem was, we only had 56.
Demand for Gamecube is really slow. I think I had the same amount of people ask me questions about Xbox stuff as Gamecube.

Shut the fuck up. I don't lose my time with videogames. I've got better things to think about...
