Judging from experience, people don't always fill out their credentials correctly, meaning that when you reply to a message from an automated form, you might not even be getting a message through to the person who contacted you in the first place. If they're sending from their e-mail client, they're less likely to mess up something as simple as getting their own "from" address right.
