Speaking of which, if i remember correctly, heart containers used to refill about 200% or 300%. Also, the Maxim tomatoes used to refill 100%(which is currently how much the heart container can refill, in Melee).

Heart Containters used to refill ALL your damage. I use to go to training, slow it down to ×1/4, take one Heart Containter at 999%, and try to KO my opponent before I hit 0%. That's when I was bored.

well then i guess all star is differant

how do you guys learn all this stuff? between how much the healing items do, and all the moves btwn marth and roy, thats a lot. you cant have all this memorized....maybe

personally, i would rather use roy over marth. they may be the same, but i can just handle roy easier for some reason. plus a bonus for me is that you can charge roy's b attack longer. i dont know why, hes just more comfortable.

aah, dont get me started on cpt. falcon. him/ganondorf are the only 2 that i am no good with. i mean im pretty standard with all the characters, but for a high-paced fight against humans, i cannot use them. lol.

He's certainly not gay but he was never a good character of mine. I hated playing as him, he does have good attacks and speed but is easily taken out.

I haven't memorized everything but from playing the game all these years I know a lot about it off the top of my head. The items are probably the easiest to remember, the names of all the moves are the only things that give me trouble sometimes.

In All-Star mode, it restores ALL your % as well.

After seeing stuff happen time after time, you pretty much memorize stuff. Like:
I've memorized the amount of damage some attacks do.
-The attack power of an attack goes down when used multiple times.
-Inflict half the Master Hand's HP in a minute to make the Crazy Hand appear.
-KO Bowser in a minute to make Giga Bowser appear.
-KO the Kirby Team to make Gaint Kirby appear.
-Pichu and Pikachu can swing the Home-run Bat the other way for more distance in the Home-run Contest.
-Young Link's bombs hit multiple times.
-Mr. Game and Watch's Judgement inflicts 12% damage to himself at 1, 2% at 2, and drops food at 7.
-If you break out of Yoshi's egg fast enough, you actually shrink yourself. Try it slowed down in practice!
-Egg Roll is Yoshi's recovery move.
-Mario's Cape and Mario Tornado, Roy and Marth's Dancing Blade, give you slight altitude used in mid-air.
-Losing more points than you have in Adventure, Classic, or All-star reverts the score to 999,999,999,999.
-Teching after taking a powerful attack doesn't always stop you, you might keep sliding along, and if you hit a wall and jump over it, you keep going.
-Fox and Falco's Reflector, and Mario's Cape break attempting to reflect something dealing 72% damage. (Try a Red Shell.)
-Yoshi's down attack always sends someone a certain distance, regardless of damage.
-You get the Captain Olimar trophy by saving Pikmin in the same Memory Card as SSMB.
-Pressing Z when the GCN is starting up (with any game) and it sounds different. If all 4 player press Z, you get something else...

Speaking of SSB (N64), remember how the CPU ignored good items like Hearts, Starmen, PokeBalls and Hammers? They just walk right past the good items without caring.

I remember that.

Also, I believe it happened in SSB, but I'm not sure, and I know it happens is melee is that computers will always avoid items that have a possibility of damaging them such as bomb-ombs. I can't really talk much about items, because I don't use them any more. It balances out the game.

Anyway, it makes Sonic more plausable for Brawl.

I would love for Sonic to be in SSBB, it's just that I can't think up a moveset for him. I imagine him being a Sheik-like character. Focuses on speed and combos. Not really on the gay needles and chainthrowing though :p

And who should I do next for my strategy guide? I want to know pretty badly. Update on the Kirby Story: Red Game and Watch possesed Kirby's mind, but Zelda made him lose control. Samus is apperantly a Nurse now. (best one I've ever seen ;))

Mario was apperently in Kirbys mentel institution because Peach got shot (by Mewtwo's defence lasers in his drug store), and Mario thought Zelda was Peach, they went along with it until Link knocked Mario into the mountains, and Roy died, but Captain Falcon (the drunk hobo, who wears white) brought him and Luigi and himself back to life (well, he thought of a way, but Zelda decided to bring him back to life), and Mario ALMOST got revenge against Zelda and Kirby, but GannonDorf (or in the game, Frank) saved their arses.

Black Game and Watch is a junk store person, who sells mainly Spice Girl cd's, Charlies Angel movies, and Dude Where is my car?.

I don't think it's right to type in caps like that, but let the president be the judge. No offense to AlexJS, but I knew all of that stuff to, Cenetaurman. And nice story you've got there.

Everytime I go against a Level 9 Ganon, Fox, Falco, Link (...ugh) or Roy... their AI is so broken. All they do is go offensive, then defensive then they go completely suicidal. And the worst thing about it, you don't know what they'll be doing next once you're trying to recover. Pretty soon, you'll be KO'd instead of trying to reach the edge.

Oh yeah, Link has the worst Level 9 AI ever.

I play and observe Smash on the professional competitive level.
I play the game every day, I love it.
I main Falco and sub-main Samus and Marth.

I consider myself pretty friendly and I love talking about Smash, so here I am. 8)
