haha, well I'm still in high school. It's track season now too. After looking at the matchups, I think I'll primary use Kirby. Pikachu and Ice Climbers for the harder matchups. I never really was able to chain the whole cast, only light characters haha.
ICs might be worth it, but i wouldn't practice them with the lag of your tvs. If you want ill play wifi with you. lol, I don't play brawl much anymore so we should be even.
I'll see if I have a "gaming mode..." And yeah sure, when are you usually available? And I don't know man... I'm quite rusty, and completely unused to wifi lag. I still remember this, haha.
this is the kind of stuff that makes me want to play again :PD: That's a shame. I heard CS GO kinda catered to the casuals alot more then the previous ones. I hope smash 4 doesn't take the same route. But didnt soruce kinda do that too? That's why people still play 1.4? Idk, I know nothing about counter strike :p
that and because CSS is kind of dead now since GO came out, lol.
Not really true. CSGO is (in my opinion) the future of FPS in esports. It's huge. You have 1.6 players and source players coming together to form teams. The scene is pretty hype. I haven't played any GO, because I know my computer won't be able to run it well.
do you play on allisbrawl or anything? And yeah, that's what I've been hearing. I only have two TV's now, neither of them are a CRT. I wish we hadn't thrown out that tiny-ass CRT we had for like 10 years. Hmm... I'll look into the game mode thing. The lag is just atrocious. I can even sense it on the character/stage selection screens.Get one!! Check to see if your friends/relatives have one that they don't use. Its worth it!!
I'll see what I can do. lol... Do a lot of tv's have this "gaming mode" you speak of?
I don't really go on AIB or play brawl anymore. I play melee/P:M and I usually hang out on this xat: http://xat.com/dabessdi
I'll still play brawl if its at a tourney though, I just mainly go for melee :p
The only events at HOBO 39 are brawl singles, doubles, and mid/low-tier doubles. I might consider doing the low tier event, sounds like it could be fun. How long has it been in production? And do they still patch it regularly? Its been in production for awhile (3 years?) and it is still being patched regularly. They will probably have setups for it at HOBO so you can try it out. They need a new tournament name, I mean come on they are at 39??? lolzz
wow, dang. I thought it was still a relatively new thing. What happened to Brawl+/Brawl-? It seems like Project M is a much better game than either of them though.
And dang, haha. Well you were playing Chu (if that was really him). That guy was my smash bros idol. Have you been going to tournies and stuff?Yeah I had to play him in bracket in melee. I was doing good until I got grabbed... Wasn't pretty after that. I cant really go to that many tournies, but I try to. Like once every 2 months I would say. That's why I still use wifi.
You should go to HOBO though, will be lots of fun. Good to see you back! Hopefully this will attract other old members and we can have our little reunion here.
Once every two months isn't bad at all. If I had to face Ultimate Razer or something in the first round, I would probably be upset lol. The smashboards thread doesn't have any mention of project M, but if it's there then I'll try to play some.

link(s)? I really don't know anything about SSB4, and I wonder if I'll buy a Wii U just for it. I won't lie, I don't have very high hopes for the game. I'll only get it if a lot of people feel like it's good, and competitively viable. For whatever dumb reason, Nintendo has really been opposed to smash being an esport.
So how's it going?
Senioritis is hitting me really hard... I've been super lazy, and now I'm getting back into smash. Lol.
