I see that Crink, but the difference is the matches are actual matches, and Combo videos are rigged for the most part. Some of the styles used in it are either not effective, or not as effective as the player made it seem.

Stab in the dark here, but I'm guessing it's where you use the Gale Boomerang's pushing effect to stop the person from coming back to the stage, like Mario's FLUDD or Squirtle's Water Gun.

Well that depends on what you mean.
Footstooling and Gliding as a concept, or effectiveness?
Concept-wise footstool jumps is 5 in my book. Its a neat feature, but its only good in FFAs under certain circumstances.
Gliding gets a 6, good but Hal Laboratory made a bad habit of giving characters either a broken recovery or a bad one in Brawl. Gliding made the game more unbalanced.
Effective-wise FS jumps gets a 4, only good for either grounding your opponent to get to an item first or an unexpected gimp spike, which isn't all that effective.
Gliding gets a 8 for obvious reasons.

I think that sums it up pretty well- Footstooling is a neat trick, but near useless in fights, whereas gliding is a broken trick, bute exceptionall useful in fights.

Sonic and Link are two of my strongest secondaries. They might pass for mains with more training.

Rocket-Z is a low fighter.
I do one match in a 3 man FFA with his friend "MATT". And the very next match they decide to jump me.
AND I STILL WON!!!!!! I took both of their stocks out completely.

I sometimes use Pokemon Trainer seriously, Jigglypuff to shame my friends, and Craptain Falcon for the lulz.

I must head off to work in a little, but for the next 30 min or so ill be on Smash if anyone's down.

Anyway, the best remedy I find is to just play it. Turn on your Wii and play some Brawl- maybe go 1 vs 1 on a low level "fat" character, and just pummel them as much as humanly possible.

Why yes, I do.

Lucas is a main (as most of you already know), Ness is a secondary. I sometimes use Pokemon Trainer for fun along with Ganon, Captain Falcon, and Samus.

Random is not a character.
Real men are decisive about who they want to play, instead of fagging around picking random because you don't know who to play.

Or else choosing Random so that when they lose, they can use the excuse that it was on Random, so they weren't playing with a character they're good at.

Hmm, I think I will express my Brawlness on here anyways.

So far (as some of you may know) I usually play as Sheik, Wolf, Fox and Falco. Yep, the Star Fox team the best. I'm reasonably good with Luigi, and all other characters, I'm O.K. Eh, at the moment, I'm trying to learn to play as Sheik, though I find her attacks are sort of weak. Only real good thing i like about her is her quickness and fast reflexes (lol reflexes). Though what i hate is her B-Up, which is on gc controller. It pretty much sucks at time, it has no distance, though to counter that she can jump..

Lol, I always play random because I find the game gets boring real quick when you only play as one character. I like variety when I challenge people and always winning is not always fun.

My actual best character is Yoshi.

Most people here don't stick with JUST one character, but play with a wide variety of them. They still take playing seriously enough to hone their skills with their main characters though, which is something you can't really do if you choose Random all the time.

Yay. With the help of Crink, ironraven, and Bstuk, I now have the infinite replay hack, so I can save replays of matches that last over three minutes.

hmmmm... Good point. I never thought of trying to hone my skills. I guess its cuz no1 in my area has brawl so I dont have anyone to challenge...
