Midair dodging is no longer directional, and can be used as many times as you can. Effectively, that means no more wave-dashing. Good riddance, I say.

With being able to jump after you dodge now it really sounds like it will help a lot of the floatly, flying characters. And with many stages having destructible it kinda makes it seem like pit, kirby etc will have a major advantage.

Look at Brawl Central. They say that a Japanese Newspaper says that Brawl will have 48 characters.

Well, this is balanced by the fact they're presumably light. I can't say the same for Charizard, maybe it doesn't have as much range?

I am expecting charizard to be rather slow so i guess that will even him out.

But charizard will probably be very slow and be a easy target in the sky.

But I mean really, I just want a few more normal stages like the battlefield one to be in brawl.

You guys all forgot.... there are secret,unlockable characters that you cant know about until you play the game. And the characters do different things this time around(except kirby because he doesnt really have any of his own moves that werent already seen before smash bros melee)

If a club has like 5 mods that are regular memebers I think the club lacks things such as comon sense.

Although you do put up a good arguement, that really just varies on the player's strategy. Like me for example who uses wavedashing as a defensive/counteractive manuever, I can deal, but taken away, my defensive capabilities are slightly affected.
In contrast to someone whose entire strategy revolves around wavedashing (someone I have encountered) can be deadly with the wavedashing ability, but taken away, is comparable to that of an lower intermediate player. Indeed it is used alot and became as powerful of a smash staple as teching, but it being overrated really depends.

Can you give me a link? I looked at the site and it didn't say that anywhere.

I think that one of the sprays might be an item from pikmin, or both. Theres not really anything besides them that could be a regular Item.

I'm sure that they will have at least one pikmin AT though.

Its been official since the first demo. The whole dodging system is different. It no longer gives you that extra push it used to. So now when you dodge you keep going with the same momentum you had.

Hmm... it seems like something that actually doesn't seem too bad when you actually think about it. I wanna see how it is in the final stage though.

Haha, thats very true. Games are about fun to me, I could care less if I win or lose as long as it isn't for money of course! :D

We still need to finish setting up the tourny we're going to hold with all the NG members. XD

Not a bad choice really, I could care less if it was in Brawl or not actually, I didn't think they would take out something but considering it being wave-dashing.. its not a bad decision for them to take it out. :P

They seem to have taken it down. Earlier today they said that the magazine deconfirmed Ness as playable. Then they edited. Now i don't see them as to trust them that much. So they aren't really a reliable source. smash boards thread

Well i don't think any one wants clone. And if ganon is back i hope he has his sword this time. Seeing as mario has the water thing from sunshine luigi will have the vacume thing from his game. which uses elements attacks like fire. so i can see them being different. but yeah no clones. even if it means no ness.

sorry i've been gone,i got banned for a week. funny story really,its on my userpage. and so this is on topic,i think luigi's final smash would be...um...well whatever it is,it would be cool if it did a lot of damage to mario than to other characters. cause im sure he loves any chance to kick mario's ass!

Maybe, if luigi is playable, not only will he have a level where there is a mansion filled with ghosts, but maybe his final smash will involve the ghost sucking vacuum..... or he'll just have a final smash that is a clone of mario's but green

I actually hope luigi's smash doesn't have to do with the game luigi's manision, ghosts or his vaccum.

I mean mario uses flood, his smash doesn't use anything from mario sunshine does it? No.
