You, know, I have been patiently waiting to see the confirmation of Event mode. This is an update I like mainly because of possibilities of Events that can take place.
If we're lucky, we can be able to make and design our own events...

YOu know what would be the best update ever ? A MArio Galaxy stage... you go around a planet, and no gravity, so you cannot "fall" You must be smashed, and it would be really fucked up !

Yeah, it would. if you couldn't fall, then after a few hits, it'd be impossible to attack anyone else unless you have a ranged attack and your in the right position to attack them. for example, Mario hits fox with an up-smash, fox flies up, and stops.Mario could jump up and attack him, but after his up B move, he couldn't do anything at all.then you'd be stuck. Although, actually, fox might be able to get back, since you can control his down-B move. Low-gravity? Maybe. Zero-gravity? No.

I just checked out Wario's Final Smash and I lol'ed at it. Wario eating garlic to become Wario Man. Man, that is pure genius. XD

That would be interesting...

But getting smashed to the side would sent you into an orbit. XD

Also, OMG 200 HP! I hope it means you can set stamina matches higher than 150.

Events are cool, but with difficulty settings? Part of the appeal of the events in Melee for me was the challenge they presented. If you have the option to just breeze through them in this, it's kind of a downer.

Unless of course there's different prizes and unlockables depending on difficulty, then it's all good.

It would be illogical if it would not be this, perhaps they will give details tomorrow... or when they will talk about difficulty settings or comp levels... (im sure they'll do an update about this)

I know I can't seeing that update spruced up my excitement to play Brawl.

I hope different difficulty's dosn't mean there will be less events then in the last one.

Also I made another stage

To make the acid all I did was change the block color, and yes the acid goes up so only the highest are out sometimes. There is also more space higher up and to the side than in the picture.

if someone can tell me how I link my pictures to this I can do that next time.

I have to say this, but if they replace Marth, it should ONLY be with The Black Knight, Ike's Rival......tell me that wouldnt be epic.

Looks interesting. I doubt they'll let you do that, but interesting nonetheless.

Hey, can i join?I play smash bros melee more cause I have a Wii which you can play GameCube games
on.The Mario Bros are my men including Dr. Mario.I also like to play as Bowser, Pikachu, and Mewtwo.
I have beaten the Giga Bowser.I was suprised when the broke from the Bowser trophy.It was wicked hard.

One I think is Final Destination.
Do you think they'll bring the classics back, like the N64 ones??

Hyrule Temple = Pure Awesomeness
Final Destination will definitely be included i think, though most likely it will be Brawl's Classic mode's reincarnation of it. It would be nice if they did bring back the N64 ones, though perhaps some better ones, because the ones in Melee weren't exactly my favourite stages. Hopefully if they do bring back the N64 stages, Sector Z or at least Corneria (from Melee) will be an inclusion.

Cool update, but I wish they would have given us more than just hyrule temple. We don't play on that stage anymore because it's just a matter of who can tech the most : /

Yeah, Hyrule Temple was one of my favorite stages.(along with Corneria, FlatZone, and Final Destination) He said it's not an exact replica, but I don't see any MAJOR differences. I mean,even the cracks on the overhange on the left side of the level are exactly the same. You know what would be funny, though? If they brought back the Corneria stage from Melee, and the other Fox stage (Lylat System, was it?) from N64, cuz they're almost exactly the same, except for the background. OR, they could bring back all of the stages from BOTH games. But...That would mean thay they would have to put Yoshi's Island in like 4 times. one for Brawl, one from melee, the one in melee that was originally in N64, and the one from the N64.(What I'm saying is, they'd use every stage from every SSB, exept for the 3 past stages in melee.) It's amazing, isn't it? These guys have thought of EVERYTHING, but they still keep adding more. If I don't get a Wii for Christmas.....So help me GOD....

I don't think they can bring back PokéFloats, Squirtle is a character now... :o Maybe they'll just have new Pokémon.

I was hoping for a super cool update when I saw the title. Like that "Past Items" thing they did. But they only showed Temple. :( Oh well, it's my favorite, and I thought there was no way for it to come back because of New Pork City. Anyway, LIST OF STAGES I THINK WILL RETURN:

Corneria
Mute City
Fourside
Kongo Jungle
Mushroom Kingdom I and II
Surely one of the Kirby ones. Probably Green Greens.
...Actually maybe Pokémon Stadium, because if you haven't played Melee, you'd wonder why the 2 was there in Brawl.

I don't think Final Destination will return. In Smash 64, it was "Master Hand's Residence" so it'll probably be the same thing with a slightly different look and a new name.

They tried to make an exact replica... and for all I know they succeeded...

There were some redesigns, most noticible on the small platform on the very bottom of the stage, but its generally the same, it looks cleaner.

I'm not too worried about Final destination, Nintendo are composed of mildly smart monkeys, if they don't bring back the one from Melee, then they will make one specifically for Brawl (which is the most likely outcome).

Do we even need them to bring back final destination. I mean it seems like a rath easy stage for any person to make.

Yeah, good point. But if it was a Custom level, you couldn'tplay on it at the end of adventure mode. I hope they bring back Master Hand. He's like...God in Melee. Except God doesn't have an evil twin who attacks with seizures.

I think Master Hand is in controlling SE through the Ancient Minister, cuz I mean... come on... The guy is 2 inches tall and has no limbs, how could he hurt anyone?!

I compared them side to side, that's pretty much the only difference visually.

Perhaps the rest is just regarding the games new physics. For example a lower ceiling or bigger left and right borders.
