But yeah, giga bowser looks sharp. And we can also see in the last picture that zelda retains her fair/bair 'electric toe'

That's the best final smash so far.
I wonder if he'll still have those elemental effects to his attacks like in Melee.

Hell, yeah, that is fucking awesome. I may just start using Bowser just so I can use his final smash. I've always wanted to use him, but I didn't have any of the code disc stuff. Oh, well. This is going to be awesome. YEAH, GIGA BOWSER!!!!! SECKSY BEAST!!!

I would imagine he does, but they didn't show any actual attacks, so we'll have to wait.

Although, Bowser looks really... unchanged in Brawl. He looks great still though, and Giga Bowser as a final smash? WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO LONG TO REALISE THIS GREAT FEATURE NINTENDO!? HUH? HUH? HUH?
Challenge: I challenge you all to beat event 51 with EVERYBODY! Yes, this includes Zelda and Sheik as SEPERATE CHARACTERS! I like to see how you guys do :).
As for me, these are all the people I have left:
Ness
Kirby
Samus
Zelda
Sheik
Link
Young Link
Pichu
Pikachu.

I did that already. Execpt playing Zelda and Shiek separate, that's just redundant.
Also, if Bowser's Final Smash is GigaBowser, then if he were to appear in Brawl, Sonic's Final Smash would be Super Sonic...
Just a thought.

The final smashes are cool but they're kind of a novelty for me, since we'll probably turn them off quick. Same reason you turn items off, it makes things unbalanced in competitive play : /

I will probably have items on and stuff when i get tire of playing seriously. Last night for example me and friends were smashing it but got kinda boring so we start using characters like bowser, ness, DK etc and turn items on.

-Yeah, me and my friends back then played without items since it ruined the fighting. We liked to play with all bombs back then but that was just for fun.
-I just checked out Smashbros.com and I just saw Bowsers Final Smash. That is one hell of a final smash. I might just choose bowser in SSBB. :/

Thats the same thing I was thinking when I first heard about Final Smashes. I would love to see them and use them in a fun game but when it comes to a competition, skill is skill and that doesn't include the ability to be able to use an item well.

Done it. A friend chalenged me a while back with that. My biggest problem was [and still is] Ganondorf and the hardest character to do it with was Young Link.

True. I stopped playing with items because nothing makes me angrier than watching my opponent run from the fight, just to get an item. I don't plan to use the smash ball too often, just when I want to have fun for fun's sake.

Let's hope items can be adjusted for online battles. If not, you're gonna have to learn how to deal with items. Great players don't need items, better ones know how to turn the tables no matter who has what.
Example: Your opponent grabs a Hammer. You hit him with a projectile, a capsule maybe (It's all about timing.) and knock him out. No midair jump means no recovery.

And then you point and laugh at him, implementing the mental part of the game.
Damn, Giga Bowser looks sexy.
Yeah, when it comes to items, that makes no difference in how well I do. If there are items, I usually just grab the spin jump and I'm fine. Just to annoy people by damaging them with both jumps then with my upb.

At least it gives you an idea on how the single Wii remote will work.

They better put an update on the movement soon, or it'll be awfully inconsistent.
Though I can just wait on the edge of my seat for the game, whichever works.

I would imagine the Wiimote being a bit uncomfortable. With only being able to use 8 directions with the pad, and using the (B) and control pad with the same hand, it would be an awkward experience for veteran Smash players.

I imagine myself playing it using either the GameCube Controller (best transition between generations) or the Wii Remocom + Nunchaku.
I don't mind the classic controller if I find a need to buy one, and as for the Wii Remocon itself... I feel that some key functions will be missed out because of the absence of an analogue stick.

Same here. The Nunchuk and Classic controllers would play almost the same as GCN, in the sense that attacks are executed the same way.

Man, I would of liked a different, more better update then that. I mean, we can always learn the controls from read the instruction manual. That's what a instruction manual is used for. It's used for other stuff but I'm not going to go into more detail then that.

Well, I think the guys behind the site are giving updates based on anybody that might visit, including people new to Smash Bros. So, they give any information, and the new people will appreciate all info given, while us vets will only like new stuff.
As for what controls I will use, that answer is easy. A GCN controller. Just for familiarity. I would probably use a Classic controller if I get one. I don't think I would ever use the Wiimote or Nunchuck. I can't get the hang of the motion sensing movement yet.
