error: cannot open .fla ?

hey i need some. help what does it mean when you can open a .fla? what is worng with it?

A) Your FLA is corrupted. Flash cannot open it. You're screwed if this is the case.

B) You're trying to open a Flash MX 2004 file in Flash MX6 or prior, or a Flash MX 2004/MX6 in Flash 5 or prior.

C) You're not using Flash.

This happened to me, also, but I fixed it. If your FLA's name has a space in it, go to File, then Open, and and open your FLA. Problem solved.
