Required viewing: The First Phantasmagoria

Basically, all you need to do for this collab is take a song from the audio portal and make a movie to it. Simple right? It is. The difference, is that this time, the collab will have a theme. What is it? Glad you asked.

The Theme
The name for this editon of Phantasmagoria is Avatar

av·a·tar noun
2 a : an incarnation in human form b : an embodiment (as of a concept or philosophy) often in a person

The additional requirement for this edition is that each of your movies has be based off of your screenname. Depending on what kind of name you have, this could mean different things. For example, for my movie, I'd probably just have a dog who has a seizure as my main character. But as for Lavagasm, he could show a volcano errupting. If you're having trouble coming up with ideas, ask. I'm sure your co-authors would be glad to share their ideas.

The Main Rules
- Music must be from the audio portal, and no extra sfx or voices.
- bgcolor is white
-size is 400 x 250
-fps=30
- you can make as many as you want (please do)
-when finished, winzip it and email to me at [e-mail]
- please save the submission as a movie clip (like in the NGTTs) I'll explain if needed
-break your fonts (Press Ctrl+B twice)
-be nice and save in mx format
-deadline is next monday

The system for awarding co-author credits is thus;
Whoever I feel deserves it overall. That means, quality of submissions, length/number of submissions, following the rules, and just being nice to me will all be considered when choosing.

The best submissions will go into the main group (Phantasmagoria) and the rest will go into a 2nd group (Delusions).

well, I have to ask for one thing, am I alloud to have my own custom made music, because if I had finally got my audio portal verification (I have waited for many months) it would be in the audio portal, so is it ok if I make my own music?

its not really as important as I thought it would be. Just make the movie.

Its going to be in the 2nd grouping. As I can only give 12 audio credits, I made 12 movies be the max.

yes it is ok to make your own music, but only if its sent to the audio portal before the collab is released.

Just a tip, but if you really want to get co-author creds you're probably going to have to make your movies longer and better than the average one from last time. This is because since this is the 2nd time around, more people will be aware of it and thus more competion. But if you don't really care about the creds, you can go crazy :P

Nevermind :) I sent it anyway :) Please let me know when/if you got it :) It's a real hypocrite/hyperactive movie, with alot of libary items... But I guess it will run pretty slow on a slow PC :P lol. It runs perfectly on a 2 gHz PC, so... :P
