Right. Because there is one easy way to make sure that a million people won't get to see a video of you getting beheaded in full detail: Don't go to unstable regions like Iraq. The guy who got beheaded was an adult. He knew that Iraq wasn't going to be Disneyland, but he took the risk anyway. Nobody forced him to go there. And he got killed, but he could have expected that something like that might happen.
Beheading someone is inhuman, sure, but I'm not really feeling sorry for the guy.

Of course, civilians could also get blown up, like the people in the WTC or the Madrid trains, but remember: if you get killed by terrorists in your own country, then your death will at least be relatively quick and painless.

If you want to stop terror, then simply leave countries like Iraq. Look at Afghanistan, when the Russians invaded, they all united against them. But as soon as the Russians left the muslim world, the Afghani warlords turned against each other and left Russia alone. Now terrorists attack Russia once again because of Chechnya. Nobody ever proved that the bombings in Moscow before the invasion were executed by Chechnyans.
And 9/11 was because a lot of muslims were pissed off with America helping Israel and stationing troops on Muslim holy land. A lot of arabs see it on the stuff, get angry and start sympathising with Bin Laden. Then Afghanistan got invaded, and now we have total anarchy and a country run by warlords and brigands, with Karzai as president of Kabul.

I don't get it. What are they doing in the Middle East? Helping the locals with our freedom and democracy? Freedom is of little value when you could get shot dead or blown up any day of the week for no apparent reason. If the Iraqis want freedom, then it's up to them to work for it. I strongly oppose pushing one's beliefs upon others.

All I'm saying is: if you want the war, then don't get shocked when you see beheadings like this. If you go to a warzone, then don't be surprised when your head gets cut off. Violence creates more violence, unless you effectively kill everybody who stands in your way, like Stalin.

Unfortunately, Bush is no Stalin. He wants the world to be a pure place, he wants the world to know freedom. Too bad it won't happen. There will always be resistance against EVERYTHING. Literally, everything has opposition. Yeah I know. Introduce good things and people will only hate you for it. I can't figure out why Bush is still trying though. A lot of people have tried to make the world a better place, and it usually ended up with things getting a lot worse. Governments should always stay rational, and ask themselves: "Do other people actually WANT us to enlighten them?" Idealism isn't always worth fighting for.

Oh, and do you know why hostage taking surged. No, not Bush. No, not France either (you think they would raise the white flags). Blame the Phillipines. They were one of the first (or at least most publicly heard countries) to pull out their people there to appease terrorist demands and save one person. After that, hostage taking skyrocketed.

What makes you think I support Kerry? Kerry would stay in Iraq too, I think the Middle East should solve it's own problems. They want freedom, democracy? Let them make it happen. There isn't alot of shit that pisses me off... but all of this fucking hostage shit gets me REALLY fucking pissed. Bush doesn't do a DAMN thing about it... he just sends out people in to be put in the line of fire, and they don't seem to be getting anything done.

(I recommend if you haven't seen it, or don't care what is going on over there... watch that and do it on an empty stomache, then you will soon agree with me...)

Here's my version of what I would do... and I belive that all would agree with me after seeing that:

I would tell them to stop IMMEDIATLEY, and start praying toward the west and SCREAMING "USA IS GOD, USA IS GOD" at the top of their lungs 10 times a day, or find a city of where the kidnappers are from, and level it with a nuke. Totally. Nothing left. If that doesn't work and they do it again, find another city of another kidnapper and NUKE IT TO HELL. Eventually, that problem will work its way to a solution from the inside out. The people will FORCE the kidnappers to stop because they won't want to be killed. And just keep doing it if no results are obtained. They WOULD stop eventually. One way or the other.

That may sound harsh, but hell when they die, they go to heaven and are worshipped by naked bitches, so we all win.

So I say go with that plan.

I saw the video last night, and it was possibly one of the most "oh god, I wish I hadn't seen that" sort of deals.

The sound of the guy was all too disturbing... he was gasping for breath... The thoughts that must have gone through that man's head. Even more disturbing is the fact that those motherfuckers that did it DIDN'T EVEN CARE that there was warm, foreign human blood on their hands... And the way they propped the head up on the body... it was so savage.

It reminds me of that scene in the book: "The Lord of the Flies", whenever the kids behead the pig and place its head on the stick. Both of these things share a resemblance, except we are talking about ADULTS here. Adult savagery at this level is rare...

And another pressing issue to me is the fact that some people probably ENJOYED watching that video... enjoying death and torture was probably a pleasure to them. Even posting the video on the internet only promotes the fact that all those fuckers wanted to do was have us see it.

true, then why scream when your head is being sawed off, your gonna die in 40 seconds, although your brain lives technically for another 45 seconds even after being detached from your body. So all in all 85 seconds, not bad and your brain wont process pain once your head is off.

Man, I am so sick of this show. It's like the same boring episode every month. :/
