I'm totally retarded and can't figure out how to record my voice. I don't have an external mic, but there's a built in one, like for Speakable Items; so the computer picks up my voice, I just can't figure out if I need extra software or what to record. Hasldfgah!! My Macintosh Manual is still packed away, so I'll have to do some digging around online. >:|

Ok, simplest way. Open Programs-Acceseries-Entertainment-Soud recorder

Make sure your mic is not muted either in broadcast and record down on the bottom right of most computers you get the little con on that.

Press the button with the red circle. When done saying something, play it back. Then save it.

Go on google or yahoo or something and look for "wav to mp3 converter" get one then convert from wav to mp3.

Upload the file somewhere on the net.

Well it could be that your mic is bad, or that you're not talking dirrectly into it.
