Check out the front page and watch the movie. This movie almost brought a tear to my eye. I thought it was really depressing, but well done.
Then I checked the reviews. It was mostly positive, but I checked the lowest ratings, and much of it was angry rhetoric against the author. Many folks claimed that he was "pulling the heartstrings to get a vote" and "America deserved it" and "Millions of people die everyday" etc. To think that this was actually at one time a world-wide tragedy.
Anyways, if you guys are looking for some whistle points, there are plenty of abusive reviews. Just a heads up.

thanx I just saw it and read some of the reviews... I say we start a discussion about them...
Just to tell everyone who doesn't already know about this, "I Miss you Daddy" is a Flash about a little girl who lost her father in 9/11. A lot of reviewers have been flaming it, making such statements as " playing on the old heartstrings for a good batting average is just sick" and "LOL SHE SHD HAV BEEN HIT BY A TRUCK LOL".

The sad thing is that it wasn't even a political cartoon. There was nothing political about it. I was half expecting the author to place the blame on terrorism/the bush administration/etc. And he didn't, so I suppose the reviewers questioned those motives. Our society is one of blamers.

I don't know why they hate it, but maybe the "we're safe now" kinda ticked off the people who are tired of bush using the "defending america" everytime he wants to do something.
i'm guessing that those people are desentizied to this by now. This wasn't exactly the first "tradegy " we seen. Maybe the movie came off the wrong way to some people.
maybe people don't like the idea of having a tradegy like 9/11 being expressed in flash. kinda hard to be taken serious if it looks like a cartoon.

We are safer than we were because our awareness is higher. There are many leftists who would seek to ignore the threat entirely, like we did in the Clinton years. Michael Moore: "There is no terrorist threat"

If I didn't like that, I would say in a review "A cartoon portrayal of such sensitive events really doesn't fit. In some ways it's offensive." Not "OMG UR GAY UR GIRLFRIEND IS UGLY JEW AMERICA DESRVES IT!!1"
