Seattle Festival

Hello, my name is Jeremy Lokken. You may remember me from such insane flash works as Saved By Your Balls, the Kerry Kampaign, Michael Jackson's Secrets, the Reading Rainbow series, and the Sloth TV series.

I was just notified only an hour ago that one of my cartoons has been accepted into Art Institute of Seattle (AIS) Animation and Video festival! This cartoon is Monster In the Mansion and it's hitting the streets like a tidal wave of fury. If you are in the Seattle area, help show your support for a Seattle-born animator, and fellow Newgrounds patron!

According to AIS's website, The Animation and Video Festival is September 10th, at 8pm, at the Moore Theatre, downtown on 1932 2nd Ave in Seattle. Tickets are $7 available at ticketmaster (206-628-0888). Sadly enough, I can't make it due to the suddenness of the schedule, and that I'm dirt poor.

I would like to thank all Newgrounds members who expressed their support through the years to continue my work, Tom and Wade Fulp, my college classmates who gave critical insight into my cartoon and contributed their talents, and Shok for donating his talented music skills to the cartoon! Thank you Newgrounds and people who encourage and challenge others to keep pushing the standards. I'll try to keep you posted on the outcome of this event in this thread.

Well Done Lokken I love Saved By Your Balls it's a great game and its good to see one of you pieces of work get some recognition. Its a shame you can't even go to that show though!

Fantastic! I wish I could see it. It's great that they appreciate your talent. To bad they couldn't appreciate you even more by making sure you could make it... but I know the feeling.

I don't care what anyone says, you are the best author here, Lokken and one of the very first as well I might add. You can teach all these new talents a thing or too. All aspiring authors should watch your stuff and take notes. :P But enough swelling your head, even though you are one of the few here I believe deserves such treatment, just wanted to show my support here since I won't be able to watch your flick.
