Man, I went without running my IP blocker for a day, and thought the banners had been fixed. But no, I went to a page, and there was the ad banner again. This one was for American Express. Clicking outside of it did no good. It was there, and it wouldn't go away. Mousing over it, even clicking on it didn't help. It just annoyed me more.

So... Yeah. Grumble. Gonna launch my IP blocker again. In case anyone cares to know, PeerGuardian does a good job of blocking the ads - just make sure to download the ad blocking pack for it. That'll fix the problem good.

those ads were really annoying. Glad they are gone :)

I got that add but you could press X in the corner to close it and play movie showed up a little bit.I'm glad it's gone.
