most of that make-up and shit i think they could stand to lose. but banning heavy metal band t-shirts is crossing a line.

if you can't wear maiden, saxon, or sabbath on your clothes, then what can you do?

they should all go to school in fancy dress. maybe as SS agents or in nazi officer uniforms.

Well, if I ever move there, I know what to do. Besides, do they really think banning certain things will make the true goths any less goth? Maybe the trendy goths will mellow out, but the rest of us will just find some loophole or other way to defy the rules.

Now that I think of it I've never really seen a person with some or all of those things above (besides the rock shirts) that I didn't think was a hot-topic shill.

However, I remain firm in my belief that the best way to deal with shills is not to make laws against them, but to make fun of them and not invite them anywhere.

If the goths didn't want to get beaten up, they would stop wearing the clothes. Has our intellegence degraded to the point where we need the government to tell us what we should wear? Clothes don't make a person, music makes a person.

when i go to school i am there to learn not to discuss revelations of goth lifestyle

plain and simple when your in a goverment school they should be allowed to tell you what u can and can not wear for the safety of everyone

But school is obviously not just a place of learning. If it was than why would they teach us things like algerbra and geometry which in real life you hardly ever use unless you have a job that requires colege in which case they might as well just teach it in college. You go to school to learn how to deal with life, it teaches you how to learn, it teaches you how to get along with others, and it should teach you how to have your own opinions.

School shootings dont happen because of what people wear, school shootings happen because of parental neglect. Do you honestly think any of the school shootings would have been stopped if you didn't let the kids wear black clothes?

This example just opped into my head... not sure how it applies exactly but I'm sure once I'm done writing it it will make sense. These are two girls who go to my school.

Kate- Wears pale foundation, black lipstick, black eyeshadow, black nailpolish, black clothes with the anarchy symbol on them and probably some AFI shirt. She Likes to listen to greenday, AFI, and any other generic punk band she can find. In her spare time she talks about all the pills she takes and things she inhales, and she gave a guy a blowjob in the bathroom.

Anne- Wears black eyeshadow (I hope thats eyeshadow and her eyelids aren't actully black), sometimes black clothes and sometimes a hard rock shirt, and bleached her hair a few times. She likes to listen to Anti-Flag (not that Anti-Flag is any less hot-topic shill). In her spare time she makes her own T-shirts and sews up her old clothes because she can't find any clothes not made in Veitnam, she wont accept gifts for any holidays unless its from her grandma or something, and she likes to make fun of Kate. Oh and her Egyptian Muslim father tried to kidnap her from her mother and bring her to Egypt because of American decadence or something like that.

Now, if you take away all goth clothes and stuff, you have one really annoying person, and one really wierd person. Majority of the goths, are probably just annoying, these guys are the sellouts. I'm just clarifying this for the people who think I'm saying every goth is a sellout.

I'm not for or against anyone, I think this ban isn't neccesary and regulation of expression is in most if not all cases completely unnecesary. However, I dislike people who do things just because they are cool.

Ah. But when I was referring to blue vs red, I was referring to the local Crips and Bloods and the numerous other gangs. When they banned those two colors, the gang-members coordinated their clothes in a way so that they could still tell who was from what gang. And as far as I know, the school still hasn't figured out how they do it.
