Ok, has anyone tried searching for their own name in google? I was bored one night and put my name on it, and it actually gave me the website of my school that I designed myself. I though to myself, "Damn, this is some crazy shit!" I was really freaked out too.
Anyone, has anyone done this?

I've done it before. When I Google my username, I get pages about my music. When I Google my actual name, I get all this crap about some lawyer-like person in Utah, and a handful of pages that are actually about me.

I've done it, the results are predictable for me though. 'Cept that whole thing talking about my song "The Pointlessness of Rap".

When I search my real name, I get pages about a type of Polish dance.

yeah...I found a bunch of stuff about my grandpa and his militairy record and his home town....I even got to pen-pal with some people who lived there...hasnt changed much since 1930.....they got a second grain elevator......

When I search for my real name, some famous bassist from AU keeps coming up. When I search for my username all kinds of things from NG and ebaums etc... shows up. Weird, you can find my posts through google! I also noted that you can google picture search for Tom and he shows up, but Wade doesnt!

ive done it plenty of times, nothing too great. the most interesting one is where i am supposedly a Pig Farmer in the Cook Islands. But hey i am also the Treasurer to the Oceania Football (soccer) Confederation

whenever I google my sn, I just get a list of all the threads ive posted on, but NG does that on its own so its nothing special...

Actually this is a true story.

My computers teacher just before the year ended, was telling us a story on how not to give out too much information over the net, and he told us a story about how a kid googled his name, and found that he was on a "missing child" list on a bunch of sites. So he contacted those people, and found out his was "adopted", and he was kidnaped when he was really little. He was then returned to his real parents..

After that day, I googled myself, but there is nothing but a bunch of Dancers, lol.

hahaha it was so great. my friend was with someone when they did that. he was bored so he decided to type his name into google. and it turned out he was "missing." apparently he was taken away from his mother or father (dont remember which) and taken to the states. lol.

When I search my username, I (unsurprisingly) get pages and pages of stuff about Egyptian mythology.

When I search my real name I get stuff about some female horseriding champion, and lots about dogs.

Also, I disturbingly find this.

It would seem that in Japan I am very well known, as for my alais I came with nothing
