I think there's an interesting point here. It's obvious that attraction to the opposite sex is a distraction at times. I'd like you to look at this from a educational point of view; don't be against it just because you want to look at some ass.

I know when I was in high school sometimes I could only stay awake by looking at the hot girls.

Not all education is abotu what's in the books. Learning how to intereact with chicks and learning how to get a lnog and soon start dating and so on, is a very good life lesson, and I don't think that education (seeing as 90% of these kids have no hope for college) is a good enough reason to hold back their social education.

Making same-sex classrooms will only stunt people's social growth. Hell, everyone who has a gf in high-school and college usually met them at the school. You separate the genders, and what they should learn ages 13-18 will have to happen ages 23-27.

And one of the thnigs they learn is how to be with th eopposite sex and not be distracted, so if they do make it to a real college where it's co-ed they will be fucked cause they won't know how to deal with the opposite sex. Who needs homework I'm around these sexy things know as chicks!

They'll probably push for same-sex colleges if I know anything.

And the last thing I want to see is two 23-year olds acting like 15-year olds on their first date. It's not fun, I'll tell you that.

And seriously, don't you think seperating guys and girls will give them a bit of a complex? The cootie age may last until the upper teens and lower twenties.

And by the way the adolescent age is an age of extreme sexual learning, and the seperation may cause kids to go after what they know creating a high percentage of homosexuals. Not that I have a prob with that, but I'm sure the schools and the people of Dallas do.

You go to school to get an education, not to learn how to get into the pants of the opposite sex.

That's not what I meant. People do go to school for an education, yes, but at the same time, it helps them to develop good social habits. I've seen many children that were home-schooled much of their lives, and while they did have an excellent education, much of the time they were lacking requisite social graces, and in some instances, had a very twisted view of reality. At least in co-ed schools, you can be exposed to the opposite sex daily, and learn to control the urges that come with it. Otherwise, once they get out of high-school, it's going to hit them like a sledge-hammer.

If they want to look like whores, that's their thing. It lets me know who to avoid. Because that same rule that lets them wear all the slutty outfits also lets me wear my wonderful trenchcoat, so I'm not complaining.

Are you a goth? Cause that would really suck. Sorry, most goths I know are social outcasts and wierdasses. And goth girls are fat and ugly. Gimme skanky whore any day over goth chicks.

And the point of education is so we get smarter. We get smarter to get richer. And richer to get nicer ass. And co-ed education takes many steps outta that by you being able to show off your smarts to get nicer ass earlier. Win-Win situation, isnt it?

Weird, yes. Outcast, not quite. For a goth, I'm a pretty popular guy. I get along well with everyone. Probably because of my laid-back yet somewhat strange personality. It makes people find me easy to talk to, and strange enough to keep the conversation interesting. And I've seen some hot goth chicks, so I'd take hot goth chicks over preppie skanks any day.

And the point of education is so we get smarter.

It's to prepare us for the job-market.

We get smarter to get richer.

There's plenty of people who graduate college and barely make ends meet. Going to college isn't a sign you're going to succeed anymore.

And richer to get nicer ass.

Among other things...

And co-ed education takes many steps outta that by you being able to show off your smarts to get nicer ass earlier. Win-Win situation, isnt it?

Actually, if the smarts=sex theory were true, nerds would be getting laid left and right. It's just a time for guys like me to screw up now so we don't screw up later.

Mmm. Maybe your right. Maybe the only goths I notice are the super wierd asses. Or maybe you got a better goth enviroment or I got a bad one. Or maybe its the fact San Francisco is so fucked up we got like super goths.

Still think you should ditch ths trench coat. The sun is your friend.

HAHA! Pay attention to black board. Good one.

The kids that fail are stoners, or dumbasses, but not straight kids.

I resemble, err, resent that. Im a stoner and I dont fail.

I don't think the girls care... They should send all the ugly chicks to all girls schools... Jus joking

That is a GOOD IDEA!!! Dont joke about matters as serious as that you moron.

I gotta say, co-ed does help develope social habits. And all the stupid people that have unprotected sex in high school and get pregnent have to drop out, move into a dirty one room apartment in a poor neighborhood and die of starvation soon after resorting to cooking they're child for food, so it ultimatly assists in weeding out the idiots and making the world a better place. On that note, high school and college are prime training grounds for learning how to coexist with the opposite sex, both on business and personal levels. This whole thing stems from this crazy conservative belief that some odd, instant transformation occurs at 30 where people learn all their values at once, and before this period they are naive, stupid sexual addicts.

Most socialization in school happens outside of the classroom during breaks, lunch, and other school functions. Seperate students in the classrooms; they're not supposed to be talking in there anyway. Kids can party after class.

I'm at a boys school, and it isn't too bad. You probably do get a better education... I know I'd not have done as well if I hadnt' got anyone to flirt with.

Of course, the bad point is that I haven't got anyone to flirt with. But that's neither here nor there.

hmm, maybe. Depends on the school and how many terminal teachers you have. Do you have a dress code?

Of course, the bad point is that I haven't got anyone to flirt with.

Again, back to my gay joke.

As a teacher, I think it's good to have segregated gender schools, but at the same time, you are removing a lot of the fun. Many kids, I know when I was a student, looked forward to the social aspect of school. Hell, I went to school that was 65-72% girls. As long as people realize that flirting with girls comes second to your education, I'm all for do-ed schools.

But that's neither here nor there.

You're right. It's at the public schools XD

School is as much about learning how to interact with girls as it is about book learning. And also, although co-ed = distraction, single sex schools = butt rape.

You impress girls by beating other guys, rather than the girl you're trying to impress.

"I gotta impress the ladies"

- Not in class.

"single sex schools = butt rape"

- Grow up please

"The cootie age may last until the upper teens and lower twenties."

- two things:
1) If class is the only place you see women you have no hope anyway.
2) I remember the cootie years being the best of my life. No one was cheating and whorring. All i wanted to do was catch the new ninja turtles cartoon on saturday morning.

So many guys are showing their greatest weakness now... the vagina. Any intelligent thoughts?
