For the purposes of this post:
We = Rest of the World
You = Republicans
When Arnie said "We must Terminate Terrorism"... That was just pathetic. What is this, world politics, or a game show?
America is just becoming a laughing stock. BBC, ITV and Channel 4 News all through today were just ripping Arnie and the rest of the Republicans to shreds. (Made for Great Viewing, by the way).
When Europeans hold a Party Annual Meeting, there are speeches, and the speech holder will get ONE standing ovation, if his speech is amazing, and he delivers it well. American Party Anual Meetings are a farce. When people say things like that, other people laugh at you. When we see people cheering just because someone sayd the name of their state, we think you're mad.
This isn't just the Republicans, Democrats are as bad. It's just a big show. There isn't any politics in it, just funny faces and silly jokes. The Bush Twins (yeah, it's Republicans, but there you go) came on... WHAT??? This is the most POWERFUL COURY IN THE WORLD, with their biggest Political Party holding its Annual Meeting, and there are two girls insulting their grandmother because she has shit taste in music or whatever...
Jokes are fine. Humour is fine. Farce is not.
Do you think it's getting silly? "Terminate Terrorism" was just the last straw for me...

It will soon be Democrats because I have to admit that I think Kerry will have the office soon. Why is it that it always Republicans? It isnt; its whoever holds the office. Whoever holds the office is subject to everyones criticism and so the Democrats will be the scapegoats soon. Politics...go figure.

Dont get me wrong, the Democrats were just as bad, probably worse... It's just that the Republicans have JUST been on TV and are fresh in my mind.

Yup, the political race is just one big joke, in my opinion. That's why I'm not paying any attention to it. I'm just gonna vote "none of the above".

Oh, I intend to vote. It's just that the political capaign is so much of a circus now, that it's too hard to seperate fact from fiction. I am therefore voting "none of the above" as I previously mentioned.

winston curchill said it best: "the best argument against democracy is a conversation with the average member of the electorate."(going from memory so the quote may contain innacuracies, but the point remains entirely intact)

Dude, are there anyone else who thinks that TruthSpeak is a fathead? I've meet a few stuck ups, but man-- somebody needs to stick a needle in his ass to deflate his arrogancy.
Perhaps you should try humble pie, TruthSpeak-- especially when you're a NOBODY...

We all knew America sucked before this thread.
Newgrounds is a website for 13 year olds who cannot understand the difference between "there", "their" and "they´re".

What? Just because we don't think that who spent more time in war than the otehr, or who looks the best? I'd rather have two nameless faceless people gonig for the presidency that all we ever knew about them was their policies. That would be the best way to elect.

I laugh at the French, because even their men "douche" (yes, I meant it to sound like that)
And since when did Europe respect the US? They used to laugh at us for not having our own culture! Just because they liked rock and roll is no reason to think that Europe EVER respected the US.

Fair enough.
I saw some of the stuff on BBC and Channel 4 and I have to admit, it’s really pathetic.
Cringe-worthily so actually.
didn’t really add anything, but at least it was on-topic…

In light of this thread's theme and on my behalf, I would like to say that:
The state of California casts its 72 votes to nominate TruthSpeak as Newgrounds' newest BBS fathead.
Okay then, now back to the point.
I was truly embarassed when I heard the Governor of my very own state say that we were going to "terminate" terrorism. For Christ's sake, are we going to "Stick around" when it comes to finding Bin Laden too, or maybe we'll "Have to let him go."
I didn't see the whole speech though, can anyone tell me if Arnold ended it with his signature "ARGGGH!", or did he just say "I'll be back."?

Oh, and is it alright if I refer to truthspeak as an "ass-hat" instead?

I didn't see the whole speech either... But he probably ended it with "I'll be back"
Either that or when her gets voted out, he'll say that.

I just remembered why I love you. Besides the fact you probably can relate if I say "Mm, that's some good corn-bread!" or "This is some great sweet tea!"
