its because level 9 is a loooong level...it seems almost impossible to get to 10...then the levels become harder and harder....many level 9s are frustrated by this.....they want those fress-ass high level icons,but alas....it seems out of reach...they vent their own frustration and feelings of infeiority around the lvl 10+ users by flaming lower level users....
its all a bunch of bullshit anyway because what does clicking on 5 flash movies and depositing "experience" have to do with how intelligent and articulate you are?
I've noticed many of the long-time regulars here(like many of the mods) consider calling someone n00b to be kinda...well....n00bish....

I'm lv9 but I'm not an arsehole. Anything I do on here which is deemed as 'violent' is purely a provoked matter, not because of my personality; I'm normally the one to stop fights, not start them! as someone said early on in this thread, it's the person and not the account. Purely saying all lv9's are arseholes is not a 100% intelligent answer, but that's my opinion.

Speaking of level 9, i just turneed level 9 five minutes ago. I think i am going to stay with it a bit for i enjoy the picture icon.

After level 9, it's a sliding scale for the minimum points. You can slip down as far as level 9 if you quit depositing.

Anyways, I think some level 9's are nasty and mean for the same reason sophomores in high school are the meanest to the freshman. Inferiority complex.

if you dont deposit for a long time you will drop in rank since the amount of exp required to level up changes each day. he fell behind.

He stopped deposting, and so went back down.

The thing about this whole topic is, the level 9 assholes will go on to be level 10 assholes etc, but some of them won't make it, whilst a new bunch of level 9 assholes will emerge on to the scene. Result: lots of lv9 assholes

well unless you start bragging about how much exp you have, then no. i said i think level 9's who go around flaunting their exp to make lesser levels look bad are assholes, since the exp and time it takes to get to level 9 is pretty pathetic compared to someone who has 7000+ exp, etc.

sooner or later you get bored of the movies and games on NG, and because they have a loooot of EXP points to deposit,they spend more time on the forums and they eventually get bored and start being a pushover. well, thats what i think

One of the reasons that they are assholes is that they have small pen0rs. That and they support terrorism.

Because they think they are cool because now they need more than 50 points to get one level higher! :P
