Well beside his life long envolvement in politics he is responcible for a few things. He had General Motors install airbags in al thier cars, he had them install the seat belt warning light and that little beep beep sound to remind you. those were two of his major accomplishments out of dozens he's had. I can't remember any more at this time and I'm too lazy to look them up on the net. I do recall something about him changing the requirments for ingredients in hotdogs. Ya know an assortment of small and large things. But the main thing is that he did it all for the well being of the people so remember that.

Outside of he's not Bush or Kerry? That is the basis of everyone's argument to vote for him. I think a diagram would explain it better.

While I personally dont't support nadar I do agree that the system does have some level of atrophy from the two main parties. The thing is that if you want to show the integrety of exanding the system you can't blindly throw your vote at anyone who seems like an alternative. I guess I'm just calling for informed voters, I might be asking too much in this country.

The fact that he ISNT a lying, capitalist corporate-loving right-winger IS a good reason to vote for him. Unless you happen to like lying, capitalist corporate-loving right-wingers in your government, in which case a vote for Kerry or Bush will do nicely.

I'm not a Nader fan, but people like him because he acts to help the people, not just himself. I never knew he was the person who helped make the seat belt warning in cars.

So he's basically a Consumer Watchdog, good for him, but does that mean someone should vote for him? I want to know what his stance is on political issues.
I hate Bush and am supporting Kerry, and I advise everyone not to waste their vote on Nader.

I'm not too sure that Kerry could do a much better job than Bush has... though it would be hard to imagine anyone doing worse than him. Of course voting for Nader may give his party Federal funding come the next election, it will still take votes away from Bush's opponent... which is bad, even if it is someone as benign and fickle as Kerry.
I think when I go to the polls in November, I'm going to check off the "other" box and write in "Bill Clinton". In light of all the choas that's happened since he left, I've come to really miss that guy and I want him back!

As much as I support other parties, a) I think Nader is a douche, b) he has never held a political office in his life, and c) if people vote for nader, it will fuck up getting Bush out of office.
I don't like his stance on pretty much everything. That, and he's being funded by the Republicans. That's enough for me.

No real reason, unless you want to vote for someone who you agree with politically (oh noes). Voting Nader doesn't help the 3rd party effort, so meh.
The one thing force produces is resistance.

The ISO is wholeheartedly supporting Nader. I'm sure many parties and organizations are.

Last I heard, not many, but then again, how many parties get a lot of air time, other than the republicans? Democrats have Air America, and that's about it.

well, I think every american that's allowed to vote shall have to decide for himself. first of all, in states in wich bush is popular, DON'T vote for nadar, but for kerry. but if you live somewhere kerry is probaly going to win, vote for nadar so he get's his votes to.
I have just said something in michael moore's word's. I think he's completely right. I, personnaly, would like notting more that to shoot bush to the moon, but making him lose the elections is a good place to begin. but now back to the topic:
Nadar is the candidat that should win, I believe, but that's jsut my opinion. He needs to get 5% of the votes for support to pay for his campaign. If he get's that he can make a chance of actually getting the same treatment as the bush and kerry now, and by doing so, making the elections more fair.
ceci n'est pas un blog.

I think the folks who vote for Nader view both of the candidates as un-electable. They are probably looking for a strong anti-war candidate, which neither candidate is. I also heard antiklaus say that he prefered him over the two big money candidates.

a good reason to vote nadar is because if he happens to win (not likely) you could see the shocked look on the face of america from outer space. that's just how shocking it would be!
