Music importing in flash 2004-08-26 01:03:37 Reply

i have copied music from CDs to my computer but flash will not import the music files from the CDs. a message pops up and says that there is an error reading the file. i am using flash 5. if anyone knows how to fix this problem or knows what is wrong please e-mail me.

Open the music files with audacity ( http://audacity.sf.net , free) and re save them as WAV, most the time flash will open them then.

WAV? Big deal :) I have over 200gb harddrive, no trouble at all.
Flash recompresses to mp3 anyway. Yes, use mp3 then.

i had that trouble when i had flash 5 but i dont think its anything to with the version lol it ould rcognise mp3 fles so i went to www.download.com and downloaded a free trial of an mp3/wav converter try it :D.

Audacity can open mp3/wav and save it as wav/mp3 too, but it does not have batch conversion. Also make sure that you get LAME (as mentioned on the audacity site)
