Does anyone remember Rise of the Triad? It wasn't really as popular but I just loved using the multi-rocket launcher on one person.

Gibs flying everywhere!

Also, Serious Sam.
Its probably the most frantic FPS ever.

I find it humorous that my girlfriend can quote playing all the games I did back in the days of freeware and shareware.

She probably logged more hours in Heretic than me.

Needing to send in my laptop for repairs this week, I had to fall back on an old Dimension 333. Cut off from my Doom 3, I found this machine had Doom II installed on it.

Amazing how those levels, sounds, music, cheat codes, monster locations, how they all are stored someplace in your head.

Icon Of Sin, yay!

Yay for Learning Company software! (Morty Maxwell, there's a name I never imagined I'd remember at 20.)

Anyone remember a little LucasArts game called Full Throttle?

Okay, this is some freaky shit. I just looked in my old CD case sitting under my desk a few days ago and I found Doom II AND Rise Of The Robots (this old robot fighting game)!!! Talk about coincedence!

Doom II is an awesome game, it still entertains me. Start a new game on Ultra Violence difficulty and try playing level 18, it's really hard.

Tribes One and Two were definetely some awesome games to play back in the day, except yeah, only the really hardcore kids play now, its not even fun to load back up. And can't forget about Diablo II, up until all the dicks made hacks for it.

haha... DOOM II doesn't support my crappy soundcard, so when i play, i can either use the cool sound effects that slow down the game and sound choppy or i can use the little beeps. i use the beeps.

Along with other obnoxious freeware.

Oh, geez, SkiFree...

That was the game to be had when it was first introduced. Hooray for pixelation!

Kidpix <3.

Now Kidpix, I loved. I created masterpieces with that program. My paintbrushes and stamps made music and sounds while being used. And then there were the tools that served absolutely no purpose aside from offering hallucinogenic images.

Yes, Kidpix. Photoshop v0.42

I remember playing a game called 'Jill of the Jungle' a lot. I really enjoyed it. I also played Kings Quest, but not nearly as much.

Other then that, I played Ski Free, Rodents Revenge, and all those other cheap games that came with my computer. =P

The old windows 95 games, like the one were you play a mouse, snake, and the ski game, were GREAT, but since windows 98 came out they have disappeared.

Not too sure if this was mentioned, but Tank Wars was one of my old favs. Then Scorched Earth came out and gracefully replaced Tank Wars on the podium.

Skifree was pretty fun for it's time too. That damn Abominable Snowman kept eating me though >:(
