Half of it was cartoon and half of it was real. They would have a spin-off show (a la I.R Baboon and Cow and chicken) with Link and Zelda. Link would always say "Well sorrrrrrry princess" it was great!! Anyone remember that shit?

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show starring Captain Lou Albano was on the Family Channel (Which I'm not sure, but I think is calling the ABC Family channel now... it was Fox Family for a while). But when I was a kid I FUCKING LOVED THAT SHOW!!!

As for best retired Nick show... Ren and Stimpy... the first few seasons when John K was still in charge. Pete and Pete was good. You Can't Do That on Television was also good, despite the fact they couldn't do that show today (what with the children in front of firing sqauds, the kids in dark medieval dungeons, and the bus drivers who drove kids to Hell.)

Rocco was pretty cool (though evidently it hasn't been retired), and the old "All That" episodes had their moments.

Other than that, Nick has gone to Hell... everything tires to be like Pete and Pete or Ren and Stimpy only to fail miserably (say what you will about Sponge Bob, I just don't see the attraction.)

I remember that.

What was that show with the temple... and the angry stone god. It was similar, but you had to collect these pieces of a statue, and put them back together, or something.

My Brother and I, or something like that...? Alfy was the older brother and his friend Goo...?

My brother and me. Probably the best show I watched, because I'm African American.

He did. He had the 30 minute show to himself. He had his own "studio" and he had an hour long special show announcing his farewell and the kids around him made him decide to stay for another season.

Kablam! was awesome, especially the "Prometheus and Bob" cartoons.

Rocko was great, too. but no one needs to be told that.

Aah! Real Monsters was weird to the point of almost being campy. i'd bring that back.
