How do I put sound?

Hello,

I'm new to Flash and my 3 last submission were blammed partially because there were no sounds! Does somebody know how to put sounds?

If you want to put background music, make a new layer, double-click on the first frame so the Sounds this comes up, click File > Import and select the music you want, then in the sounds box, in the white thing with the arrow, click it and select the music you imported. Other sounds work the same way, but if they're just small sounds you don't need a new layer.

well next time, do a search of the forum 1st (sorry if u have already.) Anyway, go to import to library in the "import" Section of the File menu and get ur sound from whereever on ur com. Then drag the sound out to a frame of a new layer that i would rename Music or Sound. Look for faqs on flash on the net

1. Know that you have a sound file on your PC.
2. Inside flash, press FIle -> Import.
3. Choose that sound file from its direction.
4. Press on a frame inside your movie.
5. Press on the window - 'Properties'.
6. Choose from one of the options there the sound.
7. There ya go :)

THank but it does'nt work. I import my sound to the library and when i go to the propertie of the frame there are millions of options and when I click on sound it does nothing.

I don't think you did it right. I'll simplify it a little.
Click File > Import... Then select the sound you want to import. Double-click the frame you want the sound in, and the Sounds panel pops up. Near the top next to where it says 'Sounds: ' click the white box and select the sound you just imported.
