Says who? You, being the final say in videogame quality?

A majority of retarded Americans who will take one look at it and think it's a peice of shit.

Ever heard the phrase "Don't judge a book by it's cover." Well it doesn't apply here.

i think thats great imagine a playstation verison for Defend your castle oh the graphic gameplay and online abilites would so rock

and UFA with multiplayer and more cities to trash it would be the GTA of space shooters

i think things are only going to get better and better for flash makers if they really shine like legendary frog and mr luis

whos work i think should belong in a musuem it is that good

I dont know wether JRF would be a good game to port to consoles. There must be made alota adjustments gameplay-wise and design-wise to make it interesting for the big crowd. Unlike alien hominid, which gameplay and design were kinda perfect as a platformconsolegame.

I wish Ryan Katham the best luck in the future since the flash game JRF was so supercool that i dont believe he will screw up.

sweet. I guess it's time for me to make some popular characters.......... what about a wooden puppet who wants to be a real boy. But his nose grows when he lies. His journey will be filled with hilarity and insanity and maybe a whale's stomach or two.

Congratulations to the author.

I'm not sure it could work.

I mean Johnny Rocketfingers was really more of a badass interactive movie. It was brilliantly animated and amazing to watch, but does it have enough gameplay to make it's way into a console game?

I never had any doubts about Alien Hominid, and I hope this game proves me wrong too. I imagine it will be sort of like Monkey Island when it comes out.

That's great and all, but do you really think that jhonny rocketfingers is console friendly?
I mean all you do is click and watch....
Unless he makes a new one.

That's my opinion.

I've always loved Newgrounds b/c it functions as kind of an "underground arcade". With the web technology that we have (Flash, Director, etc.), we no longer just wait for the next console or PC game to come out...we can make our own games that don't have to pass any type of censorship laws or anything....except the NG whistlers of course! Maybe some don't appreciate that, and take Flash for granted, but as an oldschool gamer myself, I love the fact that we can create anything interactive we want and show it to everyone. Now, the big companies are taking notice. Hopefully that means more money will be focused on Flash artists!

well, if a shit game called serouis sam got onto ps2, how come johnny rocketfingers can't? i mean ANYTHING can beat serouis sam. it's soooooo crap. i'm loading up johnny rocketfingers to play so i can't see how good it is, but, any flash artist can make a consale game, if serouis sam is allowed to be a game.

This too will pass.

Why did the pick Johnny Rocketfingers? Sure it's a good game, but there are better. A console game about a stick dude can't be THAT good.

I think it is totally cool that more consoles are looking at flash to make good games rather than beefing up on graphics such as in Doom 3.

Unless he makes a new one.

i think that if he actually based it off the character and not the acctual game and game play you could end up with almost any thing. i be it wouold be another one of those go anything games that have been popular to rip off from Grand Theft Auto 3. But as far as i know he could make it into another fighting or rpg game.

but i do admit that would be weird to have a go anywhere do anything game where your charater can become good or bad and unlock different things but ... I don't know what it is.

That's awsome. I remember seeing on TV recently some guys in the industry talking about flash animation is becomeing more and more widely used, and that you should really train for it or somthing along those lines. They were also makeing a big deal about how it's better then the old way of making toons, cause you don't have to scan each image into the computer.

Hey, briancte, please don't picture spam, use your BBS sig.

I played Johnny Rocket Fingers, and although it is a decent game, I don't think it quite meets the standard of console games.

Sony, Square, Rockstar, and others have really set the bar very high in the Video Game world.

As I am very proud of Tom, Ryan Khatam, and others of their accomplishments, I really can't see these games on consoles.

Don't get me wrong, I love to play these games just as much as the next guy. But Alien Hominid, Johnny RF, and others just don't quite seem very advanced.

You figure that the most popular games out now are very detailed 3D games set in a first or third person environment. I am talking about GTA 3/VD/SA, Halo, Driv3r, Star Wars Galaxies/KOTOR, Doom 3, and the like.

I want to see the underdog win, but we all need to realize that the future of videogaming is set in realistic 3D environments.

Still though, getting console deals means that you guys are doing something right.

Keep it up!
