Yesterday morning, Ricardo Torres from Gamespot.com flew into town (I'm in San Diego for the rest of the week) to sit down and film an Alien Hominid video interview! The interview will be appearing on Gamespot tomorrow afternoon (Thursday), so be sure to check it out! It was great meeting with him - he's a hardcore gamer with excellent taste, and he likes AH! It is beyond our wildest dreams to get all this positive response!!!
Ever since the interview, I've been working on completely re-building the Alien Hominid website. The new build hasn't launched yet, but we hope to launch tonight. You'll know when it has been updated, because the new version won't feature any Flash. I decided to strip it down as much as possible (the Google method), so the largest number of visitors can access everything without loading or compliance issues.
The new AH site will provide some more back-story, as well as provide information for ordering figurines and t-shirts! We'll have an official on-line store in the near future.
We are also working on some big changes for NG! Despite already having three different navbars spread across the site, we will be introducing a new update. It has bigger buttons and less clutter - I don't think there will be any complaints. We do need to make more effort to implement it across the site, however. Sorry for the inconsistency!
