No way he's going to be elected. I've posted this before, there has never been a thrid party candidate that has been elected as President, ever, period. They haven't ever even come close. The closest third party candidate was Teddy Roosevelt, and he had already been a pretty successful president before that. If Teddy Roosevelt couldn't get elected on a third party ticket, this guy has no chance.
Think you're pretty clever...

I'm with Gunter on this.
Besides, this is the worst possible election to consider voting for a 3rd party. Bush will lose, but only if we secure enough electoral votes to make it happen. 3rd party votes will do just that, dillute the power of the opposition.

so your gonna give up on America???
explain how Kerry, a corperate democrat who flip flops on everything to keep himself eletected since day 1 is gonna be better than bush. Fucker Claims to be a war hero, can't even salute right. got three purple hearts no sign of a war wound.
I mean, really??? If you think the cause is hopeless than it is. If you give a little faith and try something new, sometimes good things can happen.

Who CARES if Kerry gets in? It wont make a blind bit of difference. He's still a corporate loving conservative, just with a different accent.

This election calls on people to vote intelligently. A third party could easily get 5% (meaning federal funding in the next prez election) without jepordizing Kerry's bid for presidency.

I personally like Bandarick's moxie. He was willing to take O'Reilley on in a debate, and the O-man backed out.
I'll say this, my state has already deeply entrenched itself in republicanism, so my vote will carry little weight if i vote straight ticket. Therefore, I will vote on a case by case basis for the candidates (so far its looking like 2 republicans, 3 dems and the rest indepentent/3rd party).
Shouldn't this be the way people vote anyways... case by case on issues?

To answer both: Democrats are never correct about anything, from economics to crackpot conspiracy theories.
Oh, and who is a neo-con? I'm just a regular old fashioned conservative.

and republican surplus-killing megabudgets are saving america?
oh, and I'm sure that for every crackpot democratic conspiracy theory, i can find at least two right wing ones... remember, the right wing has all those doomsday conservative chritians in it.

You aren't old enough to be anything but a neo con. (ok I realize you are probably talking philosophies, but in my day they didnt consider you an 'old-fashioned conservative' unless you voted for Nixon... or at least for Ronnie Ray-gun.

I hate to admit this, but i agree with ant, im voting case by case, how it should be. Some dems are better then reps and vice versa. Ill vote for bush, but for lampson, the dem congressmen in my area, cause hes done pretty good around here. See, not strait line. I figure nader for pres man, its like 8 times hes tried to run lol.

I agree about the Libertarian's chances, but wasn't Lincoln a 3rd party candidate in 1860?

I'd call myself a libertarian but they tend to be too radical, my vote is going to Bush, mind you I am not a republican. I feel both sides have huge flaws.
Republicans- Christian Bias, Little Environmental policy,
Democrats- Racist (any group that puts up with the ACLU is), Easily influenced by special interest groups lawyers and organized crime. Exteremely wasteful and Socialist (doesn't work)
so you can see why i go republican, I'd like to see someone other than the 2 parties get into office but that isn't going to happen for a while libertarians i advise you to vote Bush, becuase Kerrey isn't going to help you and wasting your vote won't either.
I'd like to form a new party... Based on individual freedom, colorblind laws, Upholding the constitution, saving the environment (and trust me thats not what the Green party is doing) Fixing or minimizing social security. legalizing pot and reforming out legal system...anyone with me.

Both parties are subject to party lines. Just because you are a Republican and you vote Bush does not make you a "Neo-Con" as being a Democrat and voting for Kerry does make you a "Extreme-Liberal". We should be Americans first and whatever else, second. Vote for who you think is right. I am voting against Kerry because 75% of his policies go against mine and I don't respect him. Also, to be balanced, Bush on the other hand goes against 50%. Like I said before "Whoever wins, we loose". Go AntiKlaus :P

True, but we're not at that point yet. Kerry has to fuck things up first.

Nope. Though he was running for a new party, there was no third party. The Republicans took the place of the Whig party that many years before died out. This was the start of the two party system we have today. Dems V. Reps.
