200 words describing the BBS.

After bbs after a long time has become vary stagnant once again, but it always goes through these little phases. The bbs is a place to meet people you dont care about, talk shit to them and go to sleep a happy man. You can come here for attention anytime of the day and get it, probably. You can talk to flash artists and learn alot or you can watch stick figures till your eyes bleed. You meet people who seem to think they are better than you because they can hold something over you, be it postcount experience points blams and saves or even a modship. But over all the BBS is a place to have fun and enjoy yourself with other twisted people and discussing anything and everything from your favourite punk/rock band to Conciousness infinite.

The NG BBS is fun, interesting, entertaining, and even somewhat educational at times! Definitely a good place to make friends of all ages, male or female, and to chat, laugh, and have a good conversation. Just don't take things too seriously and make sure to keep a very open mind.

The BBS (general forum) is a place of sarcasm and insults, where a serious answer is rarely to be found and flames over populate the normal post. It is a place never meant to be visited when one wants an intelligent conversation with a group of people or a serious opinion. Not many people have learned of the elusive General forum BBSer's ways, but they're quick to learn and we're quick to teach. And everybody hates everybody, even though we might not say it to their face.

...That's about what I've gathered. Thanks a lot for making me waste time in mylife counting the words. It was a blessing.

NG in general yes, the BBS, no. The only time the BBS offers me any entertainment is if an original thread is created, which isn't very often. Pox and Dobio make some good original threads, but the rest are mostly the same old crap, over and over again. It gets to the point were you're posting just for the sake of posting, and that can never be good. The only reason I hang around is to see if it picks up any, as it does from time to time. Hopefully we'll move out of the "Depression era" of the NG BBS soon. And the sooner NG filters out the hentai adds the better, they're drawing a lot of flies to the site.

But wut'eva.

The BBS is a place where I can find out whats going on in the world without going outside, reading the newspaper or generally doing anything. And have fun of course.
