Info: Tool To Compress Your Swf

Ever had to struggle with the 5 MB Limit of the newgrounds upload?

This will compress your SWF, I had pretty good results.
Nifty if you are struggeling with the 5 MB Limit on Newgrounds.
it compressed a 500 KB file to 400 KB, and even a Flash with compressed video, 3 MB, went down to 2,6.
SO if you have a 5,2 MB Flash, the chances are good that you will get it under 5 MB.

I have more then Mp3s :-) Actually I have so many, they have their own zip code!
I have collected so many free tools, that, if i put them on cd, i could lay them arround the world three times.

schror, there is a much better flash optimizer... called flash optimizer lol its by eltima, it compresses up to 70% i think it was and its affordable. its also #1 in flash optimizing, check it out at www.eltima.com

Heh, does the quality stay? There is a difference between optimising and keeping quality and optimising and not keeping quality.

Well, 70% is not really belieavable. Plus, its not free... I only post free stuff :) Thanks anyway, I will check it out now.

you can download a trial version of Flash Optimizer by eltima but i dont recommend it,because it doesnt show you all its options. if u want to see some comparisons of compressed flash files you can visit http://www.artzfx.com/optimisation/optimised.htm

Surely better then the tools i dug up, but of course, the point is that they are free :-)
All the free tools do is to recompress it, while the commercial tools probably optimize picture compression and reduce unneccesary vector info.
