I met Billy from Good Charlotte. lewl
I met Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin. oh and Tom's girlfriend April.
Alien Hominid is awesome! I got to play 3 levels of it and they kickass. Dan told me that there is gonna be many more levels. It's really awesome. It comes out in the Fall.
I got to play Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It's sooo awesome. Graphics are incredible.
I saw Matt Stone and Trey Parker premeire their new movie Team America. Wait till you see it in October, it is sooooo fucking funny. It's all done with Puppets. I got to see the trailer, the first 5 minutes, and a 4 minute scene. It was AWESOME!!!!.
I also saw Sarah Michelle Gellar premeire her new movie "The Grudge" it's a Japanese horror flick, looks awesome.
And a bunch of other stuff, check out the pics later today including me and Tom with the infamous "Thumbs Up" pic.

Man i'd of liked to go! But no such luck for a Swiss... d'oh! Still, happy to hear some people are having fun over there. Oh and hey, how come Newgrounds the only place to have heard about AH? I've checked a few websites and they haven't heard of it yet.
wheres the pictuers going to be at>?
I was ther on there at the Comic-con helping Tom out. I could'nt believe I was doing that! I was heling him out passing the AH Antenas!

Right now I'm in a hotel across the street from the convention center, and their "business center" only has one computer. I had to wait an hour this morning to use it, and as soon as I sat down, some guy came in who was in a rush to print a boarding pass for his flight. It's rediculous!
Wow, my dad is also staying at a hotel across from the convention. I told him to go to comic-con but he was way too busy to go!
w00t! i live in san diego and i heard he was gonna be there. but then when i lost hope when i couldnt find his booth. i saw...the ultimate. i saw a huge alien hominid mascot as if to lead me the way! he led straight to tom! he gave me an autograph and i bought and ng-tshirt! it rocks! and got some awesome stickers that i will plague my room with! i also saw the two hottest girls there from g4, laura foy and tina wood. it was friggin awesome. luara is so hot!! man im still star strickin. tom gave me a sticker! that he pulled from his ass!!! awesome!
I've only been to one convention and met Fred Gallagher (creator of MegaTokyo), got a few things signed, cool guy, he was there with Sarah. They both look so much like their comic alter-egos it's unbelievable. Was an anime con I went to though not a comic con.
this sucks. i wish i was there. but i live near new orleans. like i could afford plane tickets or do anything else. it sounds like it was fun. i could have seen alot of people and stuff. i can't believe i never heard of newgrounds til this guy at school was on it. i accidentally put newground the first time.
Wish I could've gone! Sounded like so much fun.

Yes, he spotted me. I tried sneaking past but he pointed me out and the guy in the Alien Hominid costume tackled me. They forced me to wear the antenae things :^p
I played the Alien Hominid demo with Tom and Dan, which is cool being able to play a console game with the creators. The game was really rockin', I love multiplayer games. I got some free Newgrounds stickers too.
I also got to play Paper Mario 2 and Metroid Prime: Echos at the Nintendo booth. By the time I made my way over to Resident Evil 4 there was a big line for it. Definitely going to be one of the biggest games of the year. And people were drooling over the Zelda video as well.
Seeing as I'm self-publishing my comics I dropped by the seminars on publishing. They really didn't give me any new information though, which is a good thing because of how close I am to publishing. But it was also kind of annoying because they would talk about how to write a comic more than how to get it published.
The whole thing was really great. Next year I'll have my booth set up. Fun fun fun.

im planning to go to the comic con... i wonder if tom is still their
Why doesn't Columbus have any cool conventions :(

Cool, so you know that you need events in a story now. Awesome. That's some pointers no comicbook maker could live without :o
Well shit, this Comic-Con sounds like the most damned awesome place to be right now on this earth. For once I'm almost not lying when I say I'd love to be there wearing antenas.
I hope you do a big NG lit piece on that Tom, now that AH is out of the way, you should have some time to put together a nice long artciles with pictures of everyone and everything : )
Frontpage posts just don't cut it no more :O
If you guys think the airfare was rediculous you should see how much the hotel rooms cost.
For some reason they decided to have a golf tournament and another big event the same weekend. Shitty motel 6 hotel rooms were going for over 700 bucks a pop!
I really wish I could have been there...
Wi/Ht? #28
You should write a list of all the NG users who you met. Shibbeh!
Finally I got the chance to meet Tom and Dan!!! It was so cool. Since im from Mexico when I read that they were gonna be at the Comic Con I said "damn! I have to be there, its like a once in a life time opportunity to meet those guys", so I had to convince my wife that it was very important for me to go (because she doesnt like too much that I spend our budget i things like that...because she doesnt understand too much my geek activities, that why I didnt buy the set of figurines they had :( ) anyway I just went to comic con to meet Tom and Dan and of course to get the chance to play Alien Hominid with them. The game ROCKS!!! it's pretty cool, eventhough i played just a few minutes I really liked it a lot !! ohhh and I got some cool AH stickers as well as an NG sticker, signed by Tom and Dan....
Cheers!! Saludos from Mexico!
Tom, I think its great that you decided to run for president. I certainly wont be voting for you though!!
YAY! I met Tom today! I have the spongy yellow antennas and we talked for a good 5 minutes! I also got a sweet NG.com sticker! I'll post some pics later for the interested.
This is just too bad that I live on the other side of USA.
yay i went to the comic con and said hi to tom! wootles
Yikes tom, you look like you got hives or severely sunburnt in that pic.
the image lost some quality due to the 50k limit set by the BBS Forum, I had to make it smaller and stuff, so that's why the pic looks almost like sh*t

All of my comic-con pics. I have plenty more, but most involve me and a chick with big tits. It gets somewhat tedious after a while.
