Seems to work here. I've never seen a gun in real life, and Britain has, I believe ~150Gun Murders/year.

Canada has similar gun control laws to the US and their gun related murders are extremely low as well. It's simply a cultural thing, in my opinion.

I don't want to be pulled over period... especially if I'm trying to get to school, to work, or anything... being pulled over is too bothersome, especially if one is late for an appointment.

Americas culture is ALOT different then CA and the UK. Gun control would'nt work over here. Look at places like Austrailia where violent crime rose something like 75% after guns were banned. How are the other statistics on crime in those countries? Also do you really think everyone is just going to roll over and say "Oh, hi Mr. police man! Here's my gun!"?
