I selected my arua because of my voting habits really, besides light goes good with the l..l

i just like being neutral :) it is good but when i get some more protection and blams thingys i will change towards which one i will be better off has :D

i choose it cause its red
and i like the color red better then blue or green
whats wrong with that

I used to have the dark aura but I just changed because i like the background color lol

light blue and green are gay, but you have to admit that dark blue or metallic blue will PWN all the other colors any day.

ok, but alot of crapy movies are submitted than good ones. So you could say you deserve it, but I have more blams and I still have light. I guess its just a choice for the morons to make

WELL LOOKIE HERE, i blam more than i protect, dat's such a grate resun *ahem </sarcasm>* well of course you have more blams than saves almost everyone does, but if you looked at my reviews you'd see that i am very leniant when it comes to flashes and games that don't deserve a 5/5, and i still do, that is why light aura fits me best. But saying that just because of b/s numbers is idiotic ):<

5,432 to 1,868... I think I deserve it, but on the other hand, there are also like more blams... so maybe I need a neutral, but I like dark more so, meh, actually it doesn't matter

dude you are so 1337 with not even to 3:1 ratio on something that should be easy to have one in, you are just to cool REALLY YOU ARE :D

i lot of people think that if you got more blams than saves you should be dark aura, which isnt true. usually 66% or more flashes submitted per day are blammed, so just about everyones gonna have more blams than saves.

(everyone say thankyou captain obvious)

anywho my point is that if you are gonna do that you should have a much larger blam/save ratio than the ratio of daily movies that are blammed/saved.

why did i chose dark? its cuz i did take the advice of how to determine ones aura, and i feel that i am critical. also i just think the red looks better than the green/blue.

Hmm, both ratios seem about 1/3 saved, 2/3 blammed. If you click the Light/Neutral/Dark it reads as follows:

user's aura is representative of their voting disposition. There are three types of auras and none are particularly bad, so please don't purposely try to achieve a specific aura.

1. Neutral: A user with a neutral aura commonly casts votes that are close to the average score for that particular movie. They give each movie a fair chance and their opinion doesn't sway too far from the group.

2. Light: A user with a light aura tends to give movies high marks, including movies that everyone else hates. Perhaps this user is too easy on movies and needs to be more critical, or only votes on movies he likes. Whatever the case, this user tends to be more supportive and likes to make people feel good about their work. The problem with this is they may be too supportive of crap, such as "Delta Ebonics" and "History of Fuck".

3. Dark: A user with a dark aura has a tendency to vote low on movies. Keep in mind, they don't have a dark aura because they vote low on bad movies - they have a dark aura because they vote low on movies that most other people find good. Users like this are either very critical or just plain mean and bitter. There is a lot of crap in the Portal that gets high marks, so just because someone has a dark aura doesn't necessarily mean they are an asshole. Heck, they might be helping clean out the crap.

Remember, in order to build an aura, you must be logged in for this information to be tracked!

Now if a movie is blammed and you get a blam point that means you voted with most people. That's being Neutral. And if a movie is protected and you got a blam point that means that you voted like everyone else. That's being Neutral. That's why I choose Neutral. If you go around voting 0's on all the top rated movies, then you're Dark. If you go around voting 5's on all the low rated movies then your Light. It doesn't matter if you always vote 5's and 0's on movies that everyone else does too, you're just going with the crowd. Thank you if you actually read through this. And go change your aura to what it actually deserves to be!

ive been on newgrounds a little over a month. at first i was neutral because i gave people a chance, but after a while after i got a few blams and saves i figured it would be better if i had a dark aura since a lot of people like to make crap.

I used to be neutral, with about 2 blams : 1 save. But in the last few weeks I've already worked it up to 3:1, and it's still moving further away. Why? It seems to me that a lot of crap is getting saved in the portal. It's just my opinion of course, but it's my opinion that determines how I vote, and I've been voting a lot lower than I used to.

So, I switched my aura to dark.

i wish there were many colors... i just make mine match with my sig, recently it hasnt but before it did and it was tight, i wish there was a gold aura option.
