We got our booth set up and are ready for the first official day of Comic-con tomorrow! Tonight was pro-night, meaning everyone there was related to the industry (exhibitors with their friends & families).
Despite being only a taste of what the actual even will be like, tonight was a lot of fun! We had a constant flow of visitors playing Alien Hominid on the consoles, and sold some figurines and t-shirts.
The highlight of tonight was being visited by a fan who has followed the site since 1999. He is shipping out to Iraq soon, and brought me a military desert hat as a gift! That had to be one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me!
I'm excited to see what's in store for tomorrow. If you are in the San Diego area, Comic-con is at the San Diego convention center from Thursday through Sunday. We have playable builds of Alien Hominid, as well as figures and shirts for sale! Come and get 'em while you can! April and I personally folded, packed and tagged hundreds of shirts... It was insane.
I'll try to post pictures while I'm out here - I need to bring a cable over for my digital camera. I normally stay here in the office, but this time I'm in a hotel across from the convention center, so my internet access is more sparse. Updates to come!
