I think he's saying the reason Kobe had to buy the ring was because he cheated on his wife. It's not like it's all made acceptable because it wasn't rape. He still cheated on his wife, and he's an idiot for doing so. Mind you, if his wife can be bought out of this with a ring I don't think too much of her, either.
