The flavor was part of Dewmocracy, where three new flavors could be bought and tasted. Then on the website people voted on what was the best and the winner got to stay.. but somehow Supernova lost.

Tried Alliance today, right after I had Horde for the second time. I gotta say, Horde really isn't THAT bad, but the aftertaste sucks at first. However, once you get to mid-bottle, you get acclimated to the taste, and it starts to taste good. Alliance is better though, not by much.

It kind of sucked though, because Dew isn't a very good drink to consume in the Florida summer heat, so my stomach felt really shitty while I drank them, but I didn't care because they tasted excellent.

You kidding me? Few things taste better on a hot summer day then a cold Mountain Dew. Bottles do sweat though, so a can is the best way to indulge in the summer. I'm enjoying a nice two liter right now. I had one and a half yesterday, and one half this morning.

It was like a hundred degrees here and the bottles didn't stay cold for long.

So does anyone have the perfect temperature for Dew consumption? It could be a personal fave. I like grabbing a cold can, letting it sweat for an hour, and then drinking it. I think it has the most flavor, and it's not frosty, but it's still cool.

I agree. The commercial was just really dumb, but I guess the target audience is mostly WoW players. Since I don't play WoW, I didn't find it appealing, but that's me.
Besides, if the Dew drinkers are to fight, why would it be with one another? Surely we must stand as a united front against other sodas that strike us first.

God, I haven't had Dew in so long. My mom refuses to let me have it. I think I'm starting to suffer withdrawal...

I found out about that free Slurpee promo for today, and I went to 7-11 to get one of those free Slurpees. I was glad to find out about this deal, but I was equally glad when I noticed that a Dew flavoured Slurpee was an option. I finished the Slurpee on the bike ride home (those things are small), and I arrived home just before the rain to post this.
