*As Jean's and Eli's attacks hit the Dark Avatar, his body turns into smoke. The smoke moves a little forward and 'Dorian' rematerializes to find a new LeChuck storming at him. The pierces the Dark Avatar's side, but this time his body doesn't transform into smoke. Ignoring his wound, the Dark Avatar grabs both the lance as well as the harpoon and sends an electric current though the weapons. At the same time, lightening lashes out from his back at Jean and Eli.*

*LeChuck quickly withdraws both the lance and harpoon, but not in time to completely avoid the shock. He is propelled backwards into the wall again from the electrical explosion that leaves the air itself burnt. As he goes flying towards the wall, he is stopped dead in his tracks by seemingly nothing. He growls and narrows his eyes. His hand suddenly transforms into a Megaman-esque hand cannon. He holds it steady as it begins to charge up, the air crackling around it, pure darkness gathering within. When he can barely contain it anymore, he unleashes it in blinding small doses. Hundreds of baseball-sized clumps of anti-light and acidic blackness come hurtling at the Dark Avatar.*

*Eli punches the ground hard sending up a few large pieces of rock to block the lightening attacks. As soon as it finished Eli kicked the rock sending it flying at the back of 'Dorian'. He then repeats the process a few more times sending multiple stones sailing towards the Dark Avater. One of the stones Eli runs behind hiding himself and preparing a surprise attack.*

*The light Avatar walks across a partially demolished street, paying little attention to the cataclysmic explosions and earthquakes going on around him. Once the initial tremours have passed, a group of enforcers break cover and open fire on the security turrets that line the walls. They put up an impressive battle, but the precision of the guns is too much for them, and soon all lie dead. The turrets swing around to point at the light Avatar, but deactivate rather than firing. The grating voice of Icarus fills the streets*
Icarus: So! The spirit of an Avatar still exists to challenge my masters.
*The light Avatar looks up to the PA speakers*
Light Avatar: Icarus... You killed Navcom.
Icarus: Your personification of such a crude and outdated system amuses me. Associating life with such a device is quite frankly obscene.
Light Avatar: Yet you speak as if you were something more.
Icarus: Oh but I am. Whereas your system was bound by endless protocol-thousands of years out of date I might add-I am truly unique. I process all the thought patterns of a sentient mind, yet am rid of sentiments that would only weaken me. The only restriction on my genius is the code that holds me loyal to the dark Avatars.
Light Avatar: An impressive piece of machinery then. Was there a point to your banter?
Icarus: I hoped to persuade you to surrender, perhaps coerce this planet into doing likewise. A somewhat pointless endeavour, but hardly a drain on my resources.
Light Avatar: Well you were quite right, it is pointless.
Icarus: How so? If you ask me I would say this galaxy is doomed. And all others will surely follow.
Light Avatar: Funny, I got the impression that our fleet was holding their own.
Icarus: Even if you succeed here today, even if you did manage to slay a dark one, the others would only follow, with a force ten times as powerful.
Light Avatar: I expected as much. What you don't know is that I can still kill you. All of you.
Icarus: I suppose my inquiry into that avenue of thought would yeild no result. But for you, there is no hope, this world is doomed.
Light Avatar: You know, I completely agree with you.
*The speaker shorts out and the sentry guns are torn from the walls*

Karn sliced through the targeting matrix of the Acheron Launcher leaving it weaponless. After the first onslaught brought about by the Acheron Launchers Karn and company made an effort to destroy the remaining launchers before they could dish out such destruction a second time.
Dah'Kee finally gave into Gattsu's pleas. The dark Tanari dispelled the seal in which he created to lock Gattsu's powers.

Gattsu felt his powers activate inside him once again. He could feel the power emanating off of Nobunaga and Zanzibar, Gattsu knew that he was not as powerful as both of them, but he knew that he could at least give Zanzibar a hand. With his strength returned to him, Gattsu broke the manicles that bound him to the wall. He then proceeded to smash through the weapons safe that held his coveted Mirror blade katana.
Gattsu drew the blade from its sheath, it glowed with power in his hands. The samurai looked to Zanzibar who was still in a state of change. Immediatly using the reflexes and skill that he learned from his father's essence, Gattsu dived toward the dark Avatar.
Nobunaga's own katana, Dragon Claw came out to meet the Mirror blade. Dragon Claw glowed a bright purple. It was fused with evil, demonic runes that glowed red covered the length of the blade.
Nobunaga and Gattsu stood face to face, sword to sword.
"So, awake are we?" Nobunaga mused.
"Better than ever." Gattsu replied.
"I can see into your soul, Gattsu. You are no match for my power!" Nobunaga stated, and he was right. Gattsu knew that his powers were no match for the Dark Avatar's. But his swordsmanship was far more advanced. The samurai knew that it would be impossible for him to kill Nobunaga. But, at least he could stall him.
Gattsu knocked Nobunaga's blade away and stepped in, he brought his blade low, slashing toward the Avatar's knees. Nobunaga parried, and following the parry came Gattsu's sword high. Nobunaga couldn't believe Gattsu's speed.
As Nobunaga raised to parry the high attack he felt Gattsu's sword enter his belly and come out his back.
Nobunaga realized that Gattsu used the power of the Mirror blade to create two illusionary arms and sword to swing high. While Gattsu's real arms thrust the blade into his stomach.
"Impressive, most impressive!" Nobunaga said with a smile. "You may last long enough for me to enjoy you yet!"
Gattsu pulled the sword out of Nobunaga, it was like he was not stabbed at all, there was no wound! Gattsu knew then that this battle could very well be his last!

*Jean communicates in mind speak. "I shall keep him distracted." Monster, you seek to attack a man of the elements with electricity? It disshonors my friends graves that one such as you sent them to fate. On this day I shall honor them or join them. *With that Jean uses the wound in the avatars back to initiate sharp cold. Once ice is fromed inside he calls it to himself, ripping from inside the creature*

*The Dark Avatar's lower left arm transforms into a large shield that catches LeChuck's attack. The flesh Jean ripped from 'Dorian' explodes into his face when he calls it to him, sending small drops of acid flying through the air as well. The Dark Avatar's back becomes hard and grows spikes that catch the rocks Eli sent at him.*
Dark Avatar: "You think ripping flesh from my corporeal form will accomplish anything? Damaging this form will avail you nothing. I am Avatar and my true might lies elsewhere."
*With those last words, the Dark Avatar dissappears into smoke. He remains hidden for a few seconds until he reappear just behind LeChuck. His left arm has returned to normal and he grabs LeChuck's arms, pinning them both behind his back. A black shadow begins to crawl over LeChuck's skin from the Dark Avatar and pieces of his flesh begin to fall off.*

*LeChuck grits his teeth and sends a surge of shadow backlashing through the Avatars hands. Breaking free he shoots forward and spins around.*
"Ye can't use shadows on shadows, ye twit! An' while I may not destroy ye completly here, it's still fun rippin ye to pieces!"
*His flesh as fused back onto his arms and shoulders where they had fallen off before. He dodges various debris to his sides, and ends up on the right side of the Avatar. He quickly plants a fist in the side of his head, while at the same time swinging around towards the Avatars side with an extra long scythe that has now become his left hand.*

*Atomicus stop his journey through the tunnel when he senses an old presense. He immediately turns around and flies back out of the tunnel. Once out, he begins to search until he spots what he is looking for... he lands.*

Atomicus: "Well Lawrence, you're not going to be much help against the dark Avatars up here now are you? Or should I say... Gaia?"

Zanzibar FInally recieved the last of the ancients diving into his body. The last ancient was the boy and Ryder, the great serpent that shot into his white eye. With it the tranformation finnished. Zanzibar stood up to face Nobunaga.
"Elequently put, I am most like a butterfly." Zanzibars body had completely changed, he was shimmering white, surrounded by black smoke. Around his body 12 spheres of radiant color hovered. His eyes shone black and he looked like the halfbreed of a saint and a demon. Zanzibar reached out and grabbed the nearest gloating globe. In its hand it turned into a rapier. Zanzibar smiled.
"Nobunaga, lets see you fight two swordsmen." Zanzibar shouted then talking to the globes, "Don't hurt the weak one... he is a friend." With that Zanzibar had the 11 globes around him burst into all variety of bladed weaponry, sending the 101 mystic blades hurtling at Nobunaga.

If the others can defeat the dark Avatar, then all is well and good, I have nothing to worry about. If they fail then I will be here to face him. Besides, things are getting a little crowded down there.

Gattsu followed Zanzibar's lead and created 12 duplicates of himself, all charging toward Nobunaga. Gattsu and his duplicates struck first hoping to distract him from the threat of the 101 mystical blades coming his way, each duplicate made a different attack. Nobunaga; with lightning speed slashed through the copies of Gattsu and cut the real Gattsu across the chest with the demonic Dragon Fang, thus causing Gattsu to stumble back.
The 101 mystic blades came in at Nobunaga, the Avatar parried several of them sending them off into computer consoles and walls around the room. Many of them Nobunaga was able to dodge, but several of them still hit their mark.
"Urrrrghh!!" Nobunaga grunted as the blades stabbed into him. The blades themselves plunged into his body up to the hilt of the sword. All seemed to have been aimed at his chest and those that hit had hit their target.
Nobunaga smiled, "Good aim!" Nobunaga launched a full on assault striking quickly and skillfully at the ancient's warrior.
Gattsu charged in as well toward Nobunaga, the Dauthi ninjas were held in place by Nobunaga's dark magic. It seemed that Zanzibar and Gattsu were all the help they were going to get.

"Repair flash that is torn, bond bones that have been broken, do not let the Samurai's body give out before his soul does."

Gattsu began working Nobunaga's rear defenses, Nobunaga seemed to be doing very well holding his own against the two warriors. He parried attacks and was able to strike in retaliation as well.

*Atomicus snaps his fingers and Gaia's skull appears in his hand.*

*The Dark Avatar leaps into the air, shattering the scythe with a blast from his leg as the weapon touches him. He waves with his left hand in the air and the ruins begin to shudder and shake. He Dark Avatar calmly walks over the circles in the room towards the long hall leading to the exit. As he walks over the circles, they activate, conjuring up several elementals that move to attack the immortals.*
Dark Avatar: "I have business to attend to. The ruins will have to kill you for me. It'll be a nice test to see how much of Hanoch's power Eli has within him."

*Eli eyes the Dark Avater with hatred. Before any of the others go off to try and stop him Eli holds up his hand.*

He does not want to fight us. He must fight Gaia. We have our own problem now.

*Eli raises a hand creating a gust of wind knocking all the elementals back.*

Light Avatar: Well, I get the idea that this dark Avatar is looking for something, he seems to be playing the game very carefully for one who simply wants to destroy. Tell me, did Atlas have any other means to travel to the Avatar homeworld other than his own powers?

Karn cut through another fighter with his tail and took off in en route to the "Soaring Hunter". He was 5 kilometers away from the gigantic ship when Nobunaga appeared in front of him.
"Such a long time it has been, boy." Nobunaga said to the shocked oni.
"You- Your on the ship... How- How could you..." Karn stuttered.
Nobunaga grinned, " Haven't you heard? I am transcended! I no longer have to play by the rules of physics, or for that matter any other law that this universe is bound by. I am glad to see you again, boy. I must say I am disappointed in your progress. You are not as strong as I envisioned you could be! You have tained yourself with this pathetic demon blood!"
Karn's face was now filled with determination, " You have no room to talk! Look at you, you used to be a proud warrior, but you have been drowned in darkness, and thus you emerge an Avatar. At least I have regained my honor. Whatever honor you once had died with you all those years ago."
Nobunaga gritted his teeth in disgust, " You have been blinded by the ways of that pathetic samurai. I watched from the shadows during your war against Trilexx and Kintaro. You could have had godhood! You and that fool Lechuck(one from other dimension) killed a god! You fulfilled your destiny, but you and Lechuck both laid down your newly gained godhood because of that damn samurai! He makes all those he meets weak with his damn codes of honor! You had transcended just as I have and you surrendered that power because of HIM!!" Nobunaga said in anger.
"You don't get it do you, power can only bring about chaos. Lechuck and I laid down our godhood because we didn't want to be gods! I have only met the Lechuck of this dimension briefly, but the Lechuck I knew was not a power hungry man, he just as I laid down our powers because we know that godhood is not our place. Godhood is for gods and for gods alone. That is how we agreed it should stay." Karn explained.
Nobunaga smiled, "The samurai's words coming right out of your mouth. You truly have become a pathetic little worm!" Nobunaga swung the Dragon Fang at Karn, Karn dodged the attack and began dueling Nobunaga, his father and master.

The "Soaring Hunter"

Nobunaga slashed and parried back and forth, spinning between Gattsu's blade strikes and Zanzibar's flurry of attacks. Nobunaga ducked under one attack from Zanzibar and kicked him in the chest setting him back a foot. He then parried Gattsu's downward slash and sliced him across the left shoulder, Gattsu fell back against the interrogation room's wall.

(To clear things up if this is all confusing you with the two Nobunaga's. He is kindof multi tasking, fighting Zanzibar, and Gattsu. He is using his mind to project another physical body of himself to confront Karn. The 2nd physical body is not as powerful as his real form which is busy with Zanzibar and Gattsu. Just thought I would clear up any questions.)

*The Dark Avatar's right arm quickly extends into a long spike, penetrating Gaia's stomach and impaling him. The Dark Avatar pulls the spike back and his arm transforms back to normal. He waits.*
Dark Avatar: "Heal yourself, Light One. I have found a way to Korriban, but I cannot begin my task until you have been killed. Heal and fight."
*The Dark Avatar raises his left hand, opens his palm and an arrow of energy shoots from it at Atomicus.*
Dark Avatar: "This is a matter between Avatars only. Now heal yourself and fight, Gaiacarkaion."

Atomicus: "I don't know how you could possibly find your way to Korriban without ressurecting Atlas' powers, the last gate was on Jovia II. And Atlas is stowed away safely. How can this be?!"

Light Avatar: There are other ways. As it so happens, I also need to kill an Avatar before I can return to Korriban.
*The skies darken and white lightning forks down to strike the dark Avatar, raindrops freeze together to form jagged balls of ice that follow*

"I see... more tricks." Zanzibar said while shaking off the blow. You will have to get tired eventually he though to himself. Then grabbing a lash of white light he began lashing towards Nobunaga. "Your 'life' will come to an end all to soon."

Karn ducked under the Dragon Fang and jabbed at Nobunaga with his Babylonian scimitar. Nobunaga with superhuman reflexes parried the strike and retaliated.
The two were going back and forth, matching each other move by move. The two warriors hadn't taken their gaze off the others eyes since the duel began.
Karn circled around Nobunaga slicing with his scimitar and thrusting at the Avatar's defenses with his tail. Nobunaga was dodging and parrying the attacks as if he knew they were coming before they happened.
Nobunaga broke through Karn's onslaught and put the oni on the defensive. Quick, well placed slashes bombarded Karn's defensive strategys, he struggled to keep up with the Avatar's speed and strength.
All around them the war raged on, throughout the void. The battle would become known as the 'Avatars' Wrath' and would be remembered as the biggest naval battle in all of recorded history (That we know of).
Earth was in shambles, environmental catastrophes brought on by the impacts of the Acheron plasma were wreaking havok on the Earth's surface. The environmental stability of the planet would take decades to recover, possibly even centuries.
The final chapter in this war is still undecided...

*Three large stone hands form out of the earth, one protecting the Dark Avatar and the other two trying to smash the Light Avatar between them. The Dark Avatar prepares ice and fire balls in his hands to throw at his opponent.*

eh sory about butting in but just wondering will you ever finish this or do you plan to keep it ongoing forever & if you ever do decide your finished will you start another one again sory for interupting your fun
