Anyway that seems like a cool resource too.

Yeah, I've been in game dev with other programs (therefore needing a lot of sprites along the way!) and I want to try my hand at Flash dev. I had a look at some of the coding necessary to pull it off, and it looks scary. Fortunately I can learn syntax pretty quickly, and the code formatting is the same as some of the other dev programs I've tried.

Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task and are crap at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. Noobs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.

why dont u make your own sprite site and include them all in one, since there are so many small sites with sprites, if u made a large one then it could become the main resource!

Hmmm, uploading all those sprites into one megasite? I'd need a host that supported over 50GB of hosting, double that for bandwidth - and not to mention the time it would take doing that. You'll find most mario/sonic spritesheets don't vary much from site to site anyway... Plus some of the resources mentioned may have put their own copyright. I'd do it if someone payed me a huge amount of money though ;-)
