Well i submited a preview of my third episode, i couldnt help it i havent submited anything since may, and ive been working on my third episode since early june. SO check it out if anyone wishes. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=32737

constructive criticism is appreciated, i need to know what i can improve on, thanks :):):).

Also i should be submiting a sk8ter video (which i have also worked on since june, so dont worryits not another crappy stick vid) sometime in october. so whats going here at flash bbs lately? i havent been herein a while :):):)

Before I tell you what I think is wrong, remember I'm just trying to help... I think you should lay off the gradients. If it's not done right it looks really bad. And work more on the backgrounds, there is hardly anything there. And the color is really boring. Also the camera shots are not very dynamic, most of the time it's either a front or side view of the character. And all the shots were long shots, no medium or close up. I say you should do some research, look at some animated movies that you like and see what they do with the style. For you I think you should look at some animes since you're doing a movie that has a lot of fighting. Check out my movie, it's short but it should give you some good ideas on how to animate.

remember its only a preview, but yes i am making some different angle scenes, and some closer ups, but as for the gradients i really dont use that many if you look closely, that opening sketch was completely flat colors. Thanks for the advice though.

im aiming to finish the skater in mid october so it should be soon, i did ALOT of experiments with graffiti drawings in flash, although Pant's comment about different camera angles sunk deep in my head, and id been trying to do that but i looked at my video again and realized there are only a few unique angles( like when the sk8ter goes into the ""pool"", you see it from an underground point of view), but otherwise its mostly side angles, so i might try to add in a few scenes here n there with different camera angles to make the video of more interest.

hey my bad, im not a sk8ter so i dont even know the name of the tricks my character does, but i think i animated them well so, eh itll be out soon.
