Two or three days ago I recived the Xbox version of DDR, and two dance mats via Ebay for fairly cheap. Being that this is basically my first extended play of it, I feel I've progressed pretty well. I've only played on Light Mode so far, and I have a AA in one song, and A's in two other songs. I have a few strewn B's and C's in songs I've played a few times too.

Yea... it's a great game. I've been playing for 7 months. Until about a month ago, I only played at the arcade, but now I have a metal pad with a bar and DDR Max 1 and 2. The harddest song I can pass is Paranoia Survivor (heavy), and I can almost pass Maxx Unlimited (heavy).

I see a lot of kids play that game in the Mall. I hate it, it is so damn loud.
I am pretty sure some of the kids feel pride knowing they can stomp their feet really fast.
Good for them, let them keep on wasting all their parents money on that damn arcade game.
Maybe they will be brave like the topic starter, and go out and buy it for the X-Box and do it behind closed doors. They can then even make a topic about it, not unlike this one here on Newgrounds!

It is indeed a disease!
People who have it end up stomping their feet to bad techno music all the while thinking they are good at dancing.
Once they have the DDR Disease, they will often spend all of their parents money playing it in the arcade until the bones in their feet break. At this point they will feel there is no need to live, and they will kill them self.
So sad, so sad.
