Pure_lionheart vs tanner

Most people who have been here more than a day will have seen Pure_Lionheart before. He gets around a lot. He appeared from nowhere near the beginning of this year, and now he has over 8,000 posts. His record for amount of posts in a day is 300.

Tanner, the top poster on the BBS, at current may have almost double the amount of posts of him, but tanner should really start watching his back. Here's why.

He posted a bit in 2002, then disappeared, and reappeared at the end of feburary.

We'll round that to 130 days ago.
That's a real post per day average of 65.
Tanner has around 16,000 posts.
So, if he stays on target, he'll get to 16,000 in 110 days or thereabouts.
That's just under 4 months. I'll assume Tanner will also post in this time, but not at his rate. Say he'll make around 2000 posts. Not to worry, it will only take Pure around a month to make that many. So assume he gets to 16,000 on november 10th-15th. Then he overtakes Tanner around december 10th-15th.

If Pure_Lionheart overtakes Tanner before the new year, well then, all I have to say is feck.

Note, those calculations take bans into account.

The thing is, Tanner probably doesn't care that much about his post count, so it won't be that big a deal to him if he gets passed.

Wasn't it a mix between "The thread itself going way too off-track and turning spammy"(I did that a bit, but it wasn't JUST me) and "People doing their best to get high on it, no matter what"?

Anyway, I don't care that much about post count, but i've come to be a tad proud of it. I care more about other NG things. Mainly B/P points.
