lol sorry, I meant the first one I actually bought in Norway. The two others I got more 'accidentally'..

im going to attempt to make a (real) skate video of at least 3 minutes long over the rest of the summer,its gonna be hard since every hour of filimng i probably get an average of 5 seconds of fottage lol

I just started making Skate Flashes today. And I found it really enjoyable :D
But I wondered how you guys make yours? Or what an easy way is.

What I did was have the deck and skater on two different layers and then animated the board moving.
Then I animated the skater after with some fbf.

Here`s what I ended up making: link.
The loading time is sorta big cause I left the audio untouched.

and don`t mind the Subway preloader =P

I know it`s not that great, but it was my first try.
I just want some feedback and any tips.

Hey folks!

I got back into animation again, and to start of I tried to animate a kickflip realisticly..
I will have to make the stick full body though.

Here's the 18 fps version.

Here's the 3 fps version to see it fbf.

Tell me how to improve it.
Oh and can anybody make me a good sound pack, I lost all my sounds when my pc crashed.

To be honest, it looked more like an ollie. The board shouldn't stick to his feet when he does a kickflip.

hes right, the guy doesnt move away from the board,exagurate the kick of his legs, and the jump.

It doesn't even stick to his feet, he's above it al the time :|

Well about that far view, spamtheweb messed up and made it 250x600, but it was 600x250.

And yeah I tried to move him away from the board but it looks more ugly..

I would really appreciate if you give me some tips.

Also, I designed a park and I made it in 3D with Paint... Tell me what you think about it.
Here it is (the quality screwed up because I had to make it a .JPG):

Nice iometric skate park there,ramps are a bit steep though, and with your ollie animation make the skater crouch before his ollie and extend fully at the top of his jump all the way untill he lands then a really deep crouch for the landing.

Thank you, I tried to make it crouch but it seems he has to crouch deeper. I'm making a new one and I'll add all the things you said.

yeah its better,but now he moves to fast from crouch to fully extened,i know it tedious just practice it.

it still looks a bit weird... try making the skateboard pop deeper and have the skater going down as fast as he went up not faster, it looks better :D
