Me and our brother is startingto skate a bit again. There's actually a lot of skaters in our area, so we're not alone. Also, we got our friend to try it out too, and he likes it... :) We use the longboard to get to places, and the skateboard to skate at the places.

We made some small setups at an open area, and one of our other friends teaches us some flat-ground tricks. :D

(With small setups I mean like this:)

I was really inspired by the simplicity of cloud jumper a little while back, I have one idea:

it's kinda silly, I was thinking Barrel Feet and the Endless Pit! so basically there's a character who has no legs, because his entire lower body is just a barrel, so he rolls, and then.. I'll just draw it out..

so the pink represents the ground that he'd roll along, the red just shows his general path since he's rolling, and I figure we'd need some obstacles so for now those are just black boxes :P

at first I thought it would be coolest to just have the thing scrolling up infinitely, so we could either do that or do levels in which we draw out different courses and the like. I like the first idea better because you could play it for longer.

so thats one idea.. what do you think lochie?

i go skate today and tuesday cause of the teachers strike.
on tuesday i plan to go to 3-4 diff places. here is my schedule
im riding my bmx cause the other places i wanna get were going by train. and im alright on bmx but mostly skating. AND my mate is taping it. so maybe sum vids and pics.
this is for tuesday.
5:00 wake up - 5:30 start riding to west beach - 5:45 get to westbeach - 6:00 eat brekky 6:10 SKATE 9:30 - leave west beach and ride to cumbys 9:50 - skate at cumbys 11:30- catch train to like fulham 12:00 - skate at fulham 2:00 - leave and go to umm blackwood maybe? 2:30 - arrive at blackwood and skate 4:00 - LEAVE and go skate the drains. 6:00 head back to the suburbs [getting dark] 7:00 - skate the school [hell lit up and we got a 3 stair and a 5 stair. and some massive drop offs.] 8:30 - sleep.

I'm working on it right now! :D I've found out that the V-Cam can be used for zooming too! I'll post a preview when it's a little longer.
OH, and I've also made a song for my part. It's a remix of Långsamt, I hope I wont get in copyright trouble :P It's made mostly in reason, but the samples were imported in Garage Band.

haven't done much on mine.. been busy with THE SECRET CIRCLE WOO YAY which is like, awesome, and super fun to work on! Vad Flaatens, I'm nearly done the first of the three sections of my part, theres the first part where the guy's singing, which is the part Im nearly done, and then theres the part where the music gets kind of bouncy sounding, and then there's the really heavy part with the louder music. so I'm probably like, 1/3rd done!

i have to make an advertising campaign for a made up democratic campaign plan.
now i wanna do a flash thing but i dunna what to do. im australian so it has to be something australian i guess. or something to do with overseas maybe? but all i know is that im gunna need some help with teh animation and yeh.

It's just a little thing you can download and tween around to use as like a camera lens in the movie, it's just sometimes easier, you won't need it at the moment.

oh yeah nick and I talk all the time. he's working on it :)

PREVIEW! the lipsyncing near the end needs some fixing up and it flips out when it loops because there's audio looping in the movieclip and the main timeline and they don't match up, so if you want to watch it again you'll have to refresh the page. I hope you guys like it, I'm really pleased.

Cool!!! :D I like the BG and the persons! Remember: You don't need to have "lipsync scenes" all the time just because it's singing. (Woops, my bad? Look at advices below :S)

Here's the stuff you need to focus on when making your part:
- Change the scene often, don't let a scene last for more than two or three seconds.
- The theme for the music video is sort of secrets and mysteries. Make it mysterious if you want to.
- Please make some guy sing when they sing in the song. You don't need to do it all the time, but just to make the four parts fit together.
- I think you know this, but just to be sure, when you change the scenes, change them in the rythm of the music. You know what I'm saying.
- And last, DO YOUR THING! :D

haha, I forgot the scene changing advice, I'll get on that :)

the lipsync mouth is in a movieclip so I could just change the scene and have a different character singing with the same mouth. TRICKY!

I'll follow the advice more now.
