The Royals have won eight out of their past nine games and have the best interleague record in the majors. Also, up is down and black is white. lolol

Well, you've got to laugh at that, even if it has blown my fantasy team's effort for last night :(

The Royals? You mean that Joke Team from Kansas, yeah? Did George Brett suddenly come out of retirement to do something more controversial than the Pine Tar incident?

You got to put it in this prespective,No Mariner pitcher has ever homered,Johan in all of his starts only gave up one homer to a pitcher period,Prince Fielder has yet to grand slam, there are just so many things that make this probably the most surprising play period for the entire year.

Kansas City, Missouri, not Kansas. Fuck Kansas. I remember going to Royals games as a kid and seeing the Royals with George Brett and Bo Jackson. Those were the days lol.

Also make it 9 out 10, 11-3 interleague for the Royals. They just plain own the NL. XD

Yeah, but Johan in all of his starts hasn't thrown many pitches to Pitchers, being a career AL player until this year.

I wonder if he lived to regret throwing his first HR to a pitcher as well?

Okay, let's all poke fun at the Englishman who doesn't know where certain US Cities are. Guess I'll just stick to the baseball :(

Ah, the joys of reminiscing. I used to remember when our local stadium was a disused quarry, that we used to play 'no holds barred football' Goalkeepers wore boxing gloves, because they were't going to catch the ball.

Embaressing... that pretty much kills hope for the NL winning the All-Star game.

Also the 14 home game win streak was snapped last night for the Cubs. :(

That would means that if the Royals somehow made it to the World Series, they might win it.

Joba had a very impressive outing tonight allowing just 6 hits 0 earned runs 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings with a pitch count of 114 (76 for strikes) getting his first ever win as a starter so he is really looking like the future ace for this team having an ERA of now 2.03 at least for now.

Also the Phillies finnaly break their 6 game losing streak by shutting out the A's 4-0 and with the Marlins total collapse against the Rays having allowed every single starter score a run in the 5th inning alone! also the Marlins are now only 3 games above .500 and with the Mets and Braves around that it won't be long before most likely the Mets pass them and be the only contender against the Phillies for that division if there will even be a contender cause the Braves are just too depleted on so many positions on the field there is no way they could make a 2nd half season run.

One final thing how about the Minnesota Twins for that sleeper team other then the Rays this team has now won 8 in a row and their past 4 out of 5 games they played against and beat former Cy Young winners (Randy Johnson,Brandon Webb,Jake Peavy and Greg Maddux) and are only .5 game out of first place in the AL Central so even with the Tigers trying to make a run to make them only 5 games back and now the Royals only 7 games back (thanks to the NL) this will also be a very interesting race,as for the Indians they are now in last place and not looking to have any promise for a playoff seed.

Well, it's nice to have Chien-Ming Wang pitch well for us, but the problem with that is he's not a strikeout pitcher, which is what the crods really love in the Stadium... Well, only a strikeout pitcher in Yankee Pinstripes, coupled with a home run hitter. Is A-Rod ever going to pass Giambi for the team lead? I'd hope so!

I actually thought of the Sprewell incident as soon as I heard the story. Chacon just got cut today too.

Phillies should team him with Brett Myers, fuck yes.

Having a career record of 45-61 and an ERA above 5.00 i don't think so, Adam Eaton who's 5th on the Phillies depth chart doesn't even have an ERA around 5.00

I was thinking either the Nationals or the Rangers.

I never liked Ed Wade when he was the GM of the Phils, but I never wished harm upon the man... wait... nope, I didn't.

Phillies should team him with Brett Myers, fuck yes.

Thanks for the segway, I wanted to say something about Brett Myers tonight. Brett Myers sucks. The end.

It's so ironic he breaks the DH record for most RBIs in a game with 9 and he plays for a National League team.

Talk about your twilight baseball seasons the Rays just swept the Red Sox for the second time this season giving them a 3.5 game lead in the AL East,i've been closely watching this Tampa team all year (mainly due to me having James Shields and Scott Kazmir on my fantasy roster) but i really don't see how this team can not make the playoffs whether it's winning the division or the wild card this team is just too talented, they have probably the best all around pitching in baseball and their fielding is 97% and their bats are there when they need them,i suppose getting last so many times for so many years makes those high draft picks add up.

Also it that enough offense Hank talk about your bomber beating scoring 18 runs in a game the Yanks haven't got that many runs since against the Rays last July when they scored 21,how about that K-Rod scoring his 34th save of the season tying the record of John Smoltz in 2003 of most saves before the All-Star break.

Finally how about that NL West, now every team in that division is below .500 =\

wtf Marlins-Rockies; that shit looked more like a Dolphins-Broncos game than a Marlins-Rockies game. Goddamn does Greg Reynolds ever suck; top prospect my ass.

Also, Jose Reyes needs to stop trying to fight fucking 54-year-old Keith Hernandez, stop being a little bitch, and he needs to instead focus on helping his team not suck so much.
