I suppose its less pointless than gallivanting around, posting in a Forum no one cares about, but seriosly, they need to be a bit more selective on their hobbys next time!
What do you guys think of these people? I, personally, think they should stop at obsession, because what their doing, is beyond obsession.

One that is not good.
I'm your average Afro-American fetus. For example: I enjoy basketball, I'm rather good when I play too, but I'm much too busy scratching my horrific cracked skin these days.
ya know its funny i used this guide to beat the game
Dark Kisses In Sweet Places
If you really have a lot of knowledge in a game, then why not? A lot of people use the faqs for help to beat a game. But, there are some people who write horrible ones and then they keep writing them. So, some people are good, some have too much time on their hands.

I disagree. Lemon stories are beyond the point of obsession.
a game oriented lifestyle
you need no friends
you need no excersize
you only need pringles, a tv, a ps2 and a chair to sit/sleep in
then feeeeel your ass grow (_____)(_____)
Well isnt it obvious they have no life and they find it fun to write that rubbish.
Lol i saw something way bigger than that written by a guy, and it was about raising chaos in sonic.
Why did that guy make that when there are plentymore guides for the game out there??
maybe they get paid to make these guides...

Nope. Not a dime, and they're very clear in the legal that no one should benifit. All they get is an e-mail box of spam and stupid questions.
(actually, the cost is basicaly, the website has to ask to use it)

well, this is the way i see it. its just a form of documentation
like if you write a book report for school or whatever. its basically the same principle here. making a guide to a game is basiclly just analyzing a form of art so that everyone can enjoy it.....like a book

thats pretty much it if someone does happen to have great knowledge of a game then why shouldn't they share there knowledge with the world? Besides which would you rather do if you get stuck on a game? Go out and buy an over priced guide that ruins the whole game story and makes the game challengeless? Or go online do a quick search and find a FREE guid that tells you the stuff you need to know but doesnt give away the secrets or story line?
thats only like 9 pages long. it wouldnt take too long to put that together, it's the 80 page monster walkthroughs that i cant understand, ok, final fantasy has a lot to walk through, but someone has played the game so much that they know all the secrets, then theyve written it all down, for free

Thats not the longest one I found on that game, I picked that one because it had rediculous amounts of text drawn maps of the game of where to go and what not.

That is like saying someone who makes the Coffe Maker Manuals has no life. It is a guide, some people enjoy helping others.
Judging others on their "life" and whether or not they have one is worse than "not" having a "life".
They might be wasting their time but I don't care. In fact, I fully support them doing this because it really helps me beat games that are giving me trouble. :)

Happiness is a warm gun.
Holy shit, thats alot of writing just for one game, I cant believe someone could write that much, for one damn game, or waste thier time, trying to write resident evil blah blah, in all slashes and shit like that(though it looks cool) Those people must be loners.
I just got this wonderful game a day ago, and I've only beaten it
once so far.
holy shit... when it takes someone 1 day to beat a game _only once_ that is long enough to take up two discs, i think we have a slight obsession problem.
Just my 2 cents
