I like the new look. It feels alot more spacious now.

What do I think about this non-frame viewing with quicker load times? Fuck yeah! I'm running T3 and some times its a little slow... but without the frames it just pops right up. So obviously this will help the poor 28 and 56 "k"ers that are not fortunate enough to have college T3 lines.

Also, your wondering if people are gonna complain about this... don't. As long as you don't fuck with this site for the worse, we Newgrounds.com Deticated will be happy.

Too bad you can't make an automatic viewer to kill the crappy movies. *smirk*

the buttons totally kick ass,though it would be nice to see the look of newgrounds CoMPLETLY change,with a different style and different colors;)

Awesome! This new site layout is so awesome!

I like the new look site, quick to load and the new buttons and general top layout are cool.
Funny though, I've been browsing for almost five hours and I noticed the change. Wow, need to get some sleep :)

Do you please want to tell me why i can't vote on movies anymore??? earlier i was getting errors telling me to upgrade my flash player, which was done but the error persisted. this has since stopped.

overall: hey, if it frees up some pipe, go with it.

if someone sends a link that uses frames.php instead of view.php it has the top frame... maybe you should change it to act the same as view, even though it's called frames.

agh- i love you tom. the page loads in about a second now. before it took about 10 - 15 seconds, and i have a fairly speedy computer with cable internet access. this is much better, thank you very much.

When I vote on a movie another window appears with how much my vote was worth ect.

I just noticed 2 things.

1. The "Refresh now" now button on the webcams page does not work.

2. The "Clear" button on the BBS does not work.

Bring back the frames! The frames made it a whole lot easier to navigat through NG. Sure it was complex, but how can we jump from the portal to the bbs and then to the cam page with out the frames at the bottom? I mean, you already had it all done, so why change it now?

Tom, the new design rocks - BUT I can't deposit my experience points! (it just says "you need 0 points to get to level 1"). Also, the links to "other submitions by this author" don't seem to work. Nothing happens when I click on them.

Anyway, I love the changes.

It might just be my computer...but sometimes when I go to the portal, a little bar goes on my list of programs open, but nothing shows up... I click it, nothing happens, I right click it, nothing comes up, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CLOSE AND IT RECENTLY SCREWED UP MY COMPUTER!!! The bar says "Cannot find server". THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER THING "www.newgrounds.com/ngad.html" when it tries to load that sometimes it just completely goes off NG to one of those 404 errors or something. I believe this is a casino ad, right? Well anyway, FIX IT! I can't stand NG just disappearing all the time.

Well, that's all my complaints, glad you took out the frames, now I don't have to press F11 when I launch some games that don't open up in a new window! :)

Well, I like the idea of this scheme, even though I love using frames...

As for the speed? It may make the initial first page come up faster, but remember, every time you load a new page now, it has to load the html for that top section now... Thus slightly decreasing the speed of all the other pages...

But I still prefer this, it is a little easier to get used to...

A suggestion: I think that all the buttons, and or links (as well as the old newgrounds logo) should be put together into one swf... that way, it would decrease the loadtime, since the flash would only have to load once, and the html would be decresed... Also, it would fit together a little more fluidly, if all the buttons where better organized, and look similar... I miss the little graphics next to the old buttons, but perhaps new ones could be put into the background of the new buttons... The quick access bar, and the search bar should also be integrated into the flash piece... Not to mention the advertizing bar (if possible, I know some companies check html, not content)

You could add flash detection java-script into the top section of the front page, and bring up (instead of the navigation flash) an explanation of why they need flash (if they don't have it), and how to get it.

Yea Frames come up when i search for a movie and when i click on "see all" in the 20 most recent portal entries. hope this helps! bye!
