black and white on XP?

ok this doesnt have to do with newgrounds at all.. but i cant play my game Black and White on my computer ..... i have XP home... i know that home edition sucks... but anyways i installed the p5dll.dll and patch 1.3 and it still doesnt work... it goes fine until you click and ten it goes all epileptic on you.... please help

well i did have it on my laptop... it had xp pro... now i dont have that no more.... that sucks dude that was like my favorite game :( major bust

i had an hp when i tried it didnt work and now i have a vaio and i still doesnt work looked like an awesome game but i never got to even try it

well it is really awesome.... did you see the intro movie... the graphics are like that good.... do you play any age of empires games?

Try using Windows XP's built in Compatability Menu.

Right click the shortcut, go to compatability, and set it to Run in Windows 98 Mode. If that dosent work, then I suggest looking for the updates to Black & White.

They game developer wouldnt just let it so that you cant play it on the Newest Operating system available.

i tried that 2 it didnt work... i tried 98 and 95 nt and 2000 and didnt work... im getting mad

like when it is goin thru the intro part just really quick hold ald and press tab 2x... it should go black for a second and then work

i had the same problem with the same game. the best choice is to switch your software (or at least that worked for me)

well i am finally actually getting into the game... since whenever i shut down my laptop it erased it, i didnt get very far.... now my creature is actually growing, and i love this game more than ever... 2 cool... better than aoe 2 , age of mythology or populous... but those are very good games also

weird Black and white works fine on my PC and I have XP home aswell. and I didnt even have to patch it or anything :S Maybe your discs faulty or something?
