Thanks for the plug, X, since it's a little quiet and we could do with seeing more people in there.

....Um, he died.... He married that British girl Elizabeth (she isn't on the show, they kicked her off cause she is too old) and then they had this baby first, but he left the show dying and it was a really sad seeing watching him with cemo and death, but I loved him too. Him, Carter, The nurse Clooney dated, and the blonde who just came back to the show. I HATE WEEVER!

http://www.oscar.com/nominees/list.html
I'll just go down the nomination list:
Best Actor
I'm going with Philip Seymour Hoffman
Best Supporting Actor
George Clooney will probably get it though I would like to see (because he deserves it) Paul Giamatti get it
Best Actress
I'm on the fence with Theron and Huffman, but I think Felicity Huffman will edge it out
Best Supporting Actress
Frances McDormand
Best Animated Feature
What the hell is Howl's Moving Castle?
I'm going with Corpse Bride. And I'm going to make a prediction for next year right now, Ice Age 2
Best Art Direction
King Kong
Cinematogrophy
Batman Begins
Costume Design
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Best Director
Humpback Mountain
Best Documentary
Murderball (though what happened to the kickass bear movie?)
Best Short Documentary
God Sleeps in Rwanda
Film Editing
Cinderella Man deserves it, but Crash will get it
Foriegn Language Film
It should be Paradise Now, but the Academy will be pussies and give it to Joyeux Noël. I hope I'm wrong, it will be a big travesty if I'm right
Makeup
This is an interesting category, all three deserve to get it, though I'm going with Star Wars
Music (Score)
Memoirs of a Geisha
Music (Song)
I'll make that desicion when I've actually hear all three, though for now I'm going with Travelin' Thru
Best Picture
Oooh, this is the toughest one, It'll be down to Crash and Humpback Mountain. I'm going with Homosexuality defeating Racism.- Actually I'm changing my pick, CRASH will get it.
Animated Short
I haven't seen any of these but lets go with 9
Live Short
Again, haven't seen any of them but I'll go with (Aussreisser the Runaway)
Sound Editing
War of the Worlds
Sound Mixing
Another tough one, I'm going with Walk the Line
Visual Effects
You can knock out Narnia, so we're left with two tough ones. I'm going with WETA and hairy beast King Kong
Writing (Adapted Screenplay)
Hmm...Capote or Humpback, Capote will win though its pretty much a coin flip though the field might sneak up on them
Writing (Original Screenplay)
Crash or Syriana, I'm going with Syriana
And there you go those are my picks, enjoy them and bet on them.

The 78th oscars
I wrote this while watching the awards show and have commented on funny moments and great stuff that happened on the show...
Opening scene with all the former hosts was funny, John Stewert laying in bed with George
clooney was a great and funny moment..
John stewert is ok abit dry at the start but funny indeed...
-----------------
John stewert talking of back broke mountain and how westerns are not supose to be gay, and
they go onto clips of western films with small jokes that would make them seem very gay,
very funny i thought...
The first oscar went to
Best suporting actor
George Clooney wins and well deserved, not only one of my fave actors but hedid great work
on his suporting roll...
-----------------
Ben Stiller coming out in a green outfit, presenting a visual effect that just didnt go
right haha, it was funny and made me laugh, abit cheesy but still funny...
-----------------
dolly paton singing and with her first words "All the way from Dolly wood to Holly wood"
then goes into her song which was not that bad, a great country legend, to start off the
show with a good sounding song...
-----------------
Will Ferrel
Steve Carell
Presented for make-up as they walked onto the stage and there faces all delled up in make-
up, and Will saying how Steve smelled nice haha it was really a funy skit...
-----------------
BEST SUPORTING Actress
Racheal Rice Well deserving i think, not my fave pick but still a good choice in the area...
-----------------
Special Oscar goes to Robert Altman. who made many movies such as Nashvile, MASH and much
more, great speach aswell...
-----------------
Best Actor
Hoffman which was not my choice but he did outdo himself in his respective movie...
-----------------
Best Actress
Reese witherspoon takes this, which i think others were robbed suche better actress's such
as judy dench who has benn acting since long before Reese caame into the scene.. just my
opinion though...
-----------------
Best Director
Ang Lee again not my choice but he also deserved for his movie...
-----------------
Best Movie
CRASH, great choice in a really tough lineup of movies, i myself would have picked George
clooney and his movie but as i recently saw crash it was well deserved fo best picture...
-----------------
so my opinion and end review of it, it was a good show not all my choices but good stuff this year, there have been better but not in a long time i was pleased with the outcome and had fun watching the show...

I am kind of glad that Three Six Mafia actually won for "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp." I feel that Hustle & Flow was an underrated film and I am pleased to see that it at least got some credit.
