All I have to say is that, "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse"
I was about to make an obituary topic, but you beat me to it. Anyways, Marlon Brando died today at the age of 80. Most people of our age will best remember Brando for his role as Vito Corleone in The Godfather. Brando, called "the greatest actor of our time" was one of those actors who would dive into a role and truly make it work. One of his final roles in acting came not too long ago when he appeared in Michael Jackson's "You Rock My World" music video. Marlon Brando, you shall be missed by the acting industry and the world.
I used to be a BBS mod, plzdontban kthxbai :D

Bacon vodka? It's more likely than you'd think!
I respect him as an actor and as a person and it deeply saddens me to hear this
This is truley a sad day.
The godfather was incredible ,and it would have sucked had he not been in it.

poor sad man:(
Yeah, I heard about this on the news, but wasn't sure who he was or what characters he played.
By the way, am I the only one who finds this BBS screen amusing...?

If he died at 85, I would have put that.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned his role in "Apocalypse Now!". In my opinion, it was his best role yet.
Still, he was indeed one the greatest actors alive. He'll be missed.

No way, 'Streetcar Named Desire' was his best, IMO. Brando introduced method acting to Hollywood, and it's never been the same. I liked him in 'Apocalypse Now' but I think his role was miscast. Brando was way too chunky for the character, I felt.
The Godfather is one of my favorite movies (I do prefer Part II a bit, but that's beside the point.) Apocolypse Now is also a brilliant movie. It really is a shame. Marlon Brando is perhaps one of the greatest actor of all time.
I guess De Niro now holds status as "Greatest Actor Alive." Either him or Samuel L. Jackson.
R.I.P.
greatest actor alongside al pacino and jack nicholson.
his movies are classics.
Though the Godfather was an incredible movie, I had to watch the whole thing in captions, due to the late Mr. Brando's soft, gravelly voice.
Btw, didn't he have marbles in his mouth or something to get that sound? I heard that somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's true.

to bad, i never had teh chance to tell him i luv him :(
he was fat surprising he lived as long as he did maybe he had drugs and electricity running through his body for 20 years just to make him look like he was alive.
One less racist in the world. I won't miss him.

When I heard about it I felt bad. He was in 2 of my most favorite movies of all time- The godfather, and apocolipse now.
i read in a newspaper that brando was selected as the new budah but i dont think its true could someone help me out here

He can't refuse anything if he's dead, silly.
Sucks that he died though, I loved GodFather.
