Conservals? Conivals? CARNIVALS!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
My brother and a friend pooled together and spent $260 on fireworks for the 4th. It's gonna kick ass.

Here, here!
Although... fire crackers... well... why the hell not? Let people weed themselves out of the gene pool... It'll be a nice 4th.

But remember, fear fear fear! Terrorists!
The only time I ever see my Mom's side of the family (a republican side which ever year Bush is in office, they seem to have a weak nonpolar bond holding them together ;) ) is on the holidays. As long as nobody says "Bush" around me, nobody gets hurt.
Maybe my cousin, but he's a dumbass anyway.

Terrorists, smerorists, it's all a scare tactic...
Have fun people... Nothing isn't going to happen. Look at all the previous "forseen" attacks on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Vetrans Day, etc... Nothing has happened! Why? Because it's a scare tactic.

fireworks aren't sold in my state. My uncle used to be able to get his hands on professional looking stuff for family reunions, maybe I should ask where he got them.

No! Please don't fear the terrorist! That is their goal, to make people afraid. If you don't fear them, you won't let the terrorist win! They're just scumbags! So enjoy this 4th of July! As it is supposed to be a fantasticly fun holiday. The grand thing about 4th of July is the fireworks! I'm gonna launch all of my $300 dollars worth of fireworks and Blackcats into the sky! and I'm also gonna have fun doing it! So have a wonderful 4th of July!

Buy them in another state. My ex-brother-in-law would make a pilgrimage up to Tennessee the weekend before the Fourth and buy boocoos of fireworks. Heck, they even have fireworks stores in the median of I-24 just west of Chattanooga.
After all, what could possibly be more patriotic than rednecks, white bottle rockets, and blue ribbon Pabst?

I'm going to try and watch a firework show in the area, but unfortunately I'm going to have to spend most of the day packing. I get out of the Marines Wednsday <yaay me, 5 years I can put behind me> and hopefully I won't be called back on the IRR <very unlikely with my MoS anyways>.
But you guys have fun on the 4th, don't do anything stupid, but dont worry about terrorism or anything that day. Its a day of celebration, not a day that you should be cowering in your house.
Have fun, drink up, be merry.

My uncle finally grew up (in his mid fourties) and he doesn't spend hundreds of $$$ to blow fireworks off at my grandparents' house anymore.
We'll just watch the weak town ones :\

That's odd. Especially considering it was the japanese who originally invented fireworks.

Well, now that we've cleared that up, let's get back to the pointless, yet very enjoyable, talk of how we're all gonna get hammered and blow shit up. The American way!
